As the sun started to set, the lights officially came on at the new community center! The building was now complete, its walls gleaming and solid in the waning light. As people began to arrive, they would notice decorations lining the tiled and bright corridors, leading them towards the large auditorium where the dance was being held.

Once inside the auditorium, there were more decorations. Streamers in the colors of summer hung from the rafters and painted the walls. There were fresh flowers in every corner and on every table, bringing fragrance and festiveness to the room. The lights were low in the auditorium, dimmed to provide both mood and setting to this party in the evening.

There were several long tables stocked full with foods of all kinds and there was even a bar with an expert bartender who'd be happy to serve you. Tips were welcome but not mandatory. Large speakers hung in the corners of the room, installed to provide the latest and greatest sound system to the new building.

Everything was completed, everything was ready so it was time to enjoy yourselves!

"We may have established it," Sookie said, tapping her chin thoughtfully, "but I'm all for reconfirming as often as possible. Results might've changed, and all."

"I suppose I could be persuaded to do that," Bobby admitted. Because it was so difficult a prospect, really.

"I understand if it'll be difficult for you," she replied, giving him sad, doe-like eyes. "I can just keep faith in what we've already established if you'd rather not. Or I could be more persuasive?"

Oh, bringing out the Bambi eyes was just cruel, Sookie. Cruel. He leaned forward and gave her a quick- deliberately so- kiss. "How's that?"

"Brief," she said after a moment's consideration, leaning in to give him a much better kiss, thank you. Or at least one with more duration.

"Maybe I was just working up to the real thing," Bobby pointed out.

"Maybe I'm impatient," she retorted, smiling.

"And demanding," he teased back. Because kissing his girlfriend was such a difficult prospect, clearly.

"You're so put upon," she agreed with a sigh. "Don't worry -- that's the last time I'll demand kisses from you."

She even managed to keep her face mostly straight!

Bobby's eyes went wide and his jaw dropped and he just kind of... squeaked incoherently at Sookie for a few moments.

"If you stopped reacting like that, I'd stop teasing you," she pointed out, giggling.

"I am a very trusting person, that's all," Bobby said, pouting dramatically at her.

"You're easy," she corrected, leaning in for another kiss.
