As the sun started to set, the lights officially came on at the new community center! The building was now complete, its walls gleaming and solid in the waning light. As people began to arrive, they would notice decorations lining the tiled and bright corridors, leading them towards the large auditorium where the dance was being held.

Once inside the auditorium, there were more decorations. Streamers in the colors of summer hung from the rafters and painted the walls. There were fresh flowers in every corner and on every table, bringing fragrance and festiveness to the room. The lights were low in the auditorium, dimmed to provide both mood and setting to this party in the evening.

There were several long tables stocked full with foods of all kinds and there was even a bar with an expert bartender who'd be happy to serve you. Tips were welcome but not mandatory. Large speakers hung in the corners of the room, installed to provide the latest and greatest sound system to the new building.

Everything was completed, everything was ready so it was time to enjoy yourselves!

... Really, Zack did not need to be asked twice to lead Ino out to the dance floor. And to the vocal stylings of the Black Eyed Peas telling them that tonight was going to be a good night?

"This is a pretty darn optimistic song, isn't it?"

"I like it," she said, grinning at him. "It's a good song for us to dance to."

"It bounces," Zack replied, in a tone that suggested that he very much approved. "More songs should bounce this way, I think!"

All the better for... bouncing to! In a suit! With a pretty girl in a pink dress!

Tonight was a good night!

It wasn't like she'd really expected him to dance properly, at least? So Ino was going to be tolerant of the bouncing.

And make sure he didn't step on her feet!

"There's a lot of songs that bounce," she told him, doing a little spin. "You just have to find them."

"Do you suppose there will be many more of them tonight, at all?"

If she was going to spin, then he was going to strike a pose before wrapping his arms around her. Because even he was capable of dancing to bouncy music without necessarily bouncing, yes.

"I'm enjoying this, you know?"

And she was just going to melt into his embrace, resting her head against his chest as they moved.

"I'd be kinda hurt if you weren't," she teased softly. "But I'm glad."

Who would have thought that the Black Eyed Peas could turn out to be such excellent snuggle music? Of course, it possibly helped that any time was snuggle time, so far as Zack was concerned, and all.

"You know...? I'm glad, too." See? Snuggle time. "Thanks for coming with me to the dance tonight, Ino."

"I wouldn't have ever said no," she said, snuggling into him. "It's fun, here."

"Here, here?" Zack glanced up, momentarily, around the room. And then nuzzled back in. "Or... here?"

In his arms.

Did he really need clarification.

"Where you are," she said, pinking up. "My favourite place."

Oh, he wasn't about to let up any time soon. Not when she was so darn cute when she went all pink like that.

"That works out nicely, then," he decided. "Because I'm in my favorite place, too."
