As the sun started to set, the lights officially came on at the new community center! The building was now complete, its walls gleaming and solid in the waning light. As people began to arrive, they would notice decorations lining the tiled and bright corridors, leading them towards the large auditorium where the dance was being held.

Once inside the auditorium, there were more decorations. Streamers in the colors of summer hung from the rafters and painted the walls. There were fresh flowers in every corner and on every table, bringing fragrance and festiveness to the room. The lights were low in the auditorium, dimmed to provide both mood and setting to this party in the evening.

There were several long tables stocked full with foods of all kinds and there was even a bar with an expert bartender who'd be happy to serve you. Tips were welcome but not mandatory. Large speakers hung in the corners of the room, installed to provide the latest and greatest sound system to the new building.

Everything was completed, everything was ready so it was time to enjoy yourselves!

"Maybe I'll just be indecisive," he said, nodding. "Perhaps yes, perhaps no. So, you'd have to do some sort of pouting smile."

"How 'bout a hug?" she tried. "And a promise to come keep you company at work?"

"That I can do," he said, already opening his arms for a hug. "And I'd love the company at work. Tino's kind of a drip at the best of times and the zombies are...more likely to lose limbs on me."

Really, this way she was benefiting as much as he was.

Ino flung her arms around him in an exuberant hug. "Ewwww, zombies," she said, making a face. "Do they ever come near you?"

"Not really, no," he said, embracing her tightly and laughing. "I mostly make Tino tape them back together when they fall apart. He hates me for some reason and I don't question it. It's fun to tease him."

"I couldn't guess why he'd hate you at all!" she laughed, wriggling happily before pulling away. "And you now owe me a dance."

It was the law.

"I owe you a dance?" Hannibal was going to try to be defiant about this even if a smile was obviously lurking. "What if I resist?"

"I'll cry, and ruin my makeup and you'll have Zack frowning at you."

Ino was definitely shameless.

"That's unfair," he said, making a face at her. "That's using underhanded tactics to your advantage!"

"I'm a ninja! I'm supposed to be underhanded!"

And she wasn't sorry about it!

"I can be underhanded too," he said, stroking his chin like a cartoon villain would.

"I already gave you a hug," she protested. "You said we could dance!"

"We can dance." He was still stroking his chin. "Tomorrow. You didn't say when we had to dance!"

That was underhanded to him.

Mean! Ino pouted at him.

And wibbled. And just staaared.

"You're not allowed to do that," he tried, closing his eyes. "I've made that a rule!"

"I break the rules all the time," she said, still wibbling.

"Yeah, but this is really unfair," he said, shaking his head. "How am I supposed to resist that?"
