April Fools' Dance, An Abandoned Warehouse, Friday Night

The first arrivals to the warehouse would have found nothing - until the lights went on, dropping many shades of glitter down onto the floor. The glitter would stick around all night, almost-but-not-quite clashing with the colorful decor, though it did not seem to incite any boykissy.

Even if one of the janitors definitely took a shot at using it as an excuse.

There was a karaoke booth set up in the corner, and the rest of the party environment looked chaotic and incredibly merry. Reds, blues, and yellows had been thrown together like a crazy man had attacked the place with some paint.

"I'll find a way to rip your pants in unflattering ways if you do that," Percy warned, glancing over at him. "Don't do it."

"But you'd look so cute!" Luke said. "Like a fairy or something."

"Do you want me to find chocolate to smear over the back of your boxers so it looks like you've got skid marks after I rip your pants?" Percy asked, making a face at Luke for that one.

"It's cute that you'd think you'd be able to get away with all that before I retaliate," Luke said, laughing. "I'm pretty sure you'd get smacked over the head before you even got to the pants ripping part."

"So you think," Percy chanted. He had a few tricks up his sleeve. "It's cute that you think I'm that much of a nimrod that I couldn't find a way to do it."

"Hey, you're the one talking like you could get away with that easily in the first place. I'm allowed to defend myself," Luke said. "I may be blonde but I am not ditzy."

"Please, I expected retaliation but you seem to think you could just brush me off," Percy said, shaking his head. "I'm not brushed aside so easily, Luke."

"Believe me, I know that, you annoying brat," Luke said, giving Percy's hand a squeeze. "Luckily I don't mind having you around."

"Then, let's not dump glitter in my hair so I stick around," Percy suggested with a smile. "I'd hate to stomp out so I could go shower."

Luke sighed. "Fine. I'll find some other way to entertain myself while we're here."

"You could sing," Percy said, gesturing towards the karaoke machine. "I'd love to see that."

"Yeah that is not happening," Luke said, shaking his head. "Unless I get hammered beforehand and I don't think you want to be carrying me back to the dorms."

"Not even if I said I'd do a duet with you?" Percy asked, trying to be persuasive.

"Since when can you sing?" Luke asked.

"You have to be able to sing to do karaoke?" Percy asked.

"Well, no, I guess not," he said. "But it'd be less painful for the people listening if you could."

"Why should I care about them?" Percy wondered, shaking his head. "I don't care about them."

"So you just care about singing then?" Luke asked, looking amused. "I never knew you had this side to you."

"I'll make an ass out of myself if you do," Percy said, shrugging. "Seems fair, right?"

"Yeah that seems about right," he said, smirking. "What would you even want to sing?"

"Celine Dion?" No, that wasn't true. He didn't want to get anywhere near her songs and if Luke jumped on that suggestion, Percy was dumping him.

"If you're serious about that we're breaking up." Well at least they could agree on that.

Laughing, Percy shook his head. "I'm not. It was a test. If you agreed, I was gonna dump you."

"As you should have," Luke said, making a face. "You scared me there for a minute."

"You didn't actually think I liked her, did you?" Percy asked, making a face. "Have more faith in me than that, Luke."
