Homecoming 2017, Community Centre [Saturday Evening]
Just when you thought it was time for the island's collective consciousness to maybe move on from the whole sharkicane thing... along came Homecoming! Well, the theme was actually "Under the Sea", but like the Student Council wasn't going to have glitter-encrusted sharks feature heavily in the decorations? Please.
Of course, it wasn't just sharks: there were plenty of glitter-dolphins, and fish, andoctopuses octopi octopodes too. Jellyfish-shaped lights hung from the ceiling, and strategically-placed LED projectors were set up to complete the underwater ambiance.

He gestured over into the man in question's direction. Because clearly she needed to know all about the Avengers just chilling here.

And then blinked. "Wait, that's not -- ?" she asked, with the air of someone who already knew it was exactly who she thought it was, despite forming her question with a negative. And that she wouldn't need to actually finish said question.
