Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

"Just a few," she replied vaguely. Giving him an actual number would make it far too easy now, wouldn't it? "I'm sure you can manage it."

"And I got all night," he decided. "Wouldn't wanna pile it on all at once. Bide my time, bide my time. Is that a new dress or just one I haven't seen before?"

"New," Angela replied. "Product of a postponed girly shopping trip on Wednesday."

"And you didn't invite me?" So what if he wasn't a girl.

"I'm sorry, I really forgot about your thing for dresses," she teased. "Next time?"

"Well, I have a good eye and I'm a very good judge of what looks good and what doesn't so I could have been the judge while you all modeled," he suggested.

"You'd actually want to go shopping with a whole group of girls?" She was a little surprised, because lets face it, most men get bored after five minutes being dragged around a store by one girl. Let alone several.

"I think it'd be fun," he decided. "And it's not like I can't entertain myself or something."

"Oh, you really are the perfect guy," she laughed.

"Yes, yes, I know," he teased and buffed his nails on his jacket. "As long as I don't have to wear the dresses, I'm good with helping pick them out."

"You may regret saying that if I ever decide to test this out," she told him.

"I don't think so," he said and shook his head. "Never underestimate the powers of my social skills."

"Really should've know better than the doubt," she said, smiling at him.

"And maybe I'll find a nice hat or something while I'm out with a bunch of girls," he said.

"It goes both ways," she agreed. "We know what looks good on you."

"Yeah, but I don't know if I wanna be wearing pink suits and cravats," he said and made a face.

"I can save you from that if it comes to it," Angela said, grinning at that look.

"But would you?" Hannibal wondered. "Or would you get a kick out of seeing me in that sort of thing?"

"I might," she allowed with a laugh. "But there's a balance to be walked between my amusement, and scaring you from ever coming out with us again."

"No ruffles either!" he insisted.

"No ruffles," Angela agreed. "I really can't see you as the frilly shirt type, anyway."

For some reason, that on Hannibal just seemed plain wrong.

"Thank you," he said, letting out an exaggerated breath of relief. "I'd look like a fool."

"I can be nice and consider not making you feel ridiculous from time to time," she said with a smile.

"Because if you did," he said and stepped closer to her, "there'd have to be revenge."

Angela raised an eyebrow with a certain amount of amusement. "Revenge, huh?" she asked. "What sort of revenge?"
