April Fools' Dance, An Abandoned Warehouse, Friday Night

The first arrivals to the warehouse would have found nothing - until the lights went on, dropping many shades of glitter down onto the floor. The glitter would stick around all night, almost-but-not-quite clashing with the colorful decor, though it did not seem to incite any boykissy.

Even if one of the janitors definitely took a shot at using it as an excuse.

There was a karaoke booth set up in the corner, and the rest of the party environment looked chaotic and incredibly merry. Reds, blues, and yellows had been thrown together like a crazy man had attacked the place with some paint.

"Nope! Your eyes go all dark and you frown a bit and your eyebrow goes up." Momoko let go of him with one arm, reaching up to push at said eyebrow. "Sometimes you hold your chin, too. Usually when you're trying to figure something out."

Jaime reached up to capture her hand, pulling it away from his face a bit. "No I don't!"

"Totally do!" she grinned. "And if it's a problem you think is really interesting, you talk to yourself."

"Don't listen to her. She's just making that up," Jaime muttered, sotto vocce.

Momoko moved the hand he was holding to push at his head. "Silly!"

"Or hunger," she chuckled. "Could be boredom?"

"Hmm... Both of those are bad," Jaime said thoughtfully. "Maybe we should get you some food. And some entertainment."

"You said 'and'!" Momoko beamed happily at him and lifted up to kiss him. "Best Boyfriend Ever!"

She hugged him again. "As long as you carry through and aren't just teasing me!"

Jaime leaned in close, his lips an inch from her neck. He let his warm breath wash across her skin for a moment before asking very, very softly.

"You don't like being teased?"

... "Haaa?" That wasn't a laugh, that was a sigh. Her eyes closed and she swallowed, taking a moment to reply: "Not sure? Maybe you should do that again so I can decide?"

"But," he said in that same breathy way, "I wouldn't want to do anything you weren't going to enjoy."

Ah, that was not going to help her after all. "Hmmmmm?" Momoko's thinking was more focussed on making sure he had full access to her neck. She moved her arms, flattening her palms against his back to keep him this close. "Haven't punched you yet?"

"That," he paused to lightly touch his nose to her skin, "might be just because you're being nice."

"Oh? Then how do you explain it?" Jaime asked, staying right where he was, his skin just barely touching hers.

She gave in, unable to come up with anything witty to respond with. Who knew her neck was that sensitive? "Okay, I do like it. A lot."

"You know what?" he asked in that same, almost too soft to hear tone. He leaned in closer, letting his lips brush against her skin as he spoke. "I like it too."
