April Fools' Dance, An Abandoned Warehouse, Friday Night

The first arrivals to the warehouse would have found nothing - until the lights went on, dropping many shades of glitter down onto the floor. The glitter would stick around all night, almost-but-not-quite clashing with the colorful decor, though it did not seem to incite any boykissy.

Even if one of the janitors definitely took a shot at using it as an excuse.

There was a karaoke booth set up in the corner, and the rest of the party environment looked chaotic and incredibly merry. Reds, blues, and yellows had been thrown together like a crazy man had attacked the place with some paint.

"Like just surprising him?" Momoko shook her head. "I don't know. What if he doesn't like surprise kisses?"

"Oh no!" Momoko laughed, tugging Jaime down to bump his head with hers. "I think I'll keep him. He's kind of important to me."

"Does he know that?" he teased, bumping his hip against hers playfully.

"I certainly hope so!" She chuckled, then was quiet for a moment, just looking at him. Happy. "But I probably need to say it more often. You really are, you know."

Jaime flushed and grinned at the same time. "Same to you," he said softly, leaning his head over against hers.

Surprisingly fluttery inside, Momoko took advantage of the nearness and shifted, pressing up to kiss him. "Surprise kiss. It came highly recommended."

Jaime took a moment to kiss her back.

"Well, it was a good recommendation," he said happily.

"Should I be jealous?" he teased, pressing another quick kiss to her cheek.

"I do like it when you get jealous," Momoko admitted, smiling as she moved closer and wrapped her arms around his waist. "But I think you'll be okay this time. He's got a girl he seems to be pretty interested in."

"You think? He has pretty good taste, though. He's actually just overall totally awesome. Hmm. Maybe you should be jealous?"

She chuckled. "You do! I may be biased, though. Since I pretty much like every expression you make."

She had to bury her head in his chest, she was laughing so hard. "Even that one, but totally not in the same way."

Jaime grinned and reached up to press her head against his chest. Then he leaned down and pressed a kiss to the top of her head.

He couldn't help it. That laugh was just too awesome.

Like how after a moment of just enjoying that closeness, Momoko couldn't resist tickling him in his sides so he'd laugh too?
