Homecoming 2017, Community Centre [Saturday Evening]

Just when you thought it was time for the island's collective consciousness to maybe move on from the whole sharkicane thing... along came Homecoming! Well, the theme was actually "Under the Sea", but like the Student Council wasn't going to have glitter-encrusted sharks feature heavily in the decorations? Please.

Of course, it wasn't just sharks: there were plenty of glitter-dolphins, and fish, and octopuses octopi octopodes too. Jellyfish-shaped lights hung from the ceiling, and strategically-placed LED projectors were set up to complete the underwater ambiance.

Dante grinned, pressing a last, more fleeting kiss to her mouth before he pulled away. "Give that another hour," he teased.

Even if he didn't care about stuff like that, Kathy did. And she wanted him to enjoy it with his friends.

Dante snickered softly. "I don't really care about that," he said. "I don't know half these people. And I'm lookin' forward to getting home with the two of you."

"Oh, you're definitely coming home with us," Kathy said with a cheerfully lecherous grin. "But whether it's in one hour, or two, or after the whole night is gone, I'm okay. Just gives me more time to appreciate the view."

It was easier to enjoy the buildup of anticipation when they were still (mostly) clothed and in public.

She was getting kissed again, for that.

"What thing?" she asked with contrived innocence--except then she was getting kissed again and it was hard to keep up an act when that was happening.

God that boy could kiss. She wrapped her hands around his wrists, letting her thumbnails dig just slightly into the skin above where his pulse beat.

Dante sighed against her mouth, his arms wrapped around her waist. "Check back in thirty minutes for another one," he said, wink in his tone.
