Valentine's Dance; Town Hall; Friday Evening [8 pm - 10 pm]

Arrivals to town hall would notice that the Student Council took a darker approach to the decorations this year. The colors of the streamers, balloons and table cloths were in shades of dark red and black. Instead of cut outs of hearts and pictures of cupid, there were broken mirrors hanging on the walls, open umbrellas scattered about the room, fake cobwebs on the wall and glittery cut outs of the number "13" hung everywhere.

You even had to walk under a huge ladder in order to get into the dance.

Sure, they were tempting fate by having a Friday the 13th themed dance but this was Fandom. What's the worst that could happen?

[Wait for the OCD or so help me...I'll hurt you is here! Up early because Natalie said so and to get the most out of play. Second part to go up later on tonight (tomorrow?) to save browsers and to spike punch]

Buffy was having one of those "shadowy corner? or no shadowy corner?" dilemmas.

Then she figured that she was more comfortable in shadowy corners anyway, so she and her punch would be right over here.

Worf was not a wallflower. Or a kissyface type person.

However the shadows did allow one to observe and remain somewhat hidden.

In fact Worf looked like he expected the dance to be invaded.

Finding a spot where he could keep an on... things, Merlin was glad to find a shadowy corner to lurk in wait around in like a proper servant did. Not that he thought his services would be required tonight.

God he hoped not.

While he hadn't arrived yet officially, it was inevitable that Liir would find himself in the shadowy corner. He did his best to uphold it's traditions, such as looking around somewhat nervously and smiling wanly but was absolutely sure not to step closer to anyone and intrude upon their personal hiding place.

After some time, Amber found herself relatively relaxing in a darker corner, and there she watched others, not like stalkery or anything, just... you know.

It was nothing unusual for Penelope to find herself in a darker corner, observing more than she was being observed. There were so many beautiful girls here, in beautiful gowns, and to her, they were simply perfect.

It seemed to make her more self-conscious of herself.

As was almost customary now, Lee found a dark corner and rested against the wall, a cup of punch in one hand. It was familiar but lacking all at the same time.

Annja hadn't planned on coming to the dance as it really wasn't her type of thing -- although she had finally gotten past the freaked out feeling about being realistically ten years older than most of her classmates. However, once she entered the dance, she headed straight to a shadowy corner.

She could be honest this weekend when she saw Roux and tell him that she had been getting out and being social this way.

He never said how social.

Oooh, there was a corner! And it was all shadowy! Lion-o knew he pretty much stood out with the red hair, but disappearing into the shadowy corner gave him a sense of being out of the spotlight.
