Friday Evening: Town Hall: Homecoming (8pm - 10pm)

The first thing that might be noticed when students walked into the Town Hall was the towering stone troll statues that had been dragged in to grace the corners of the dance floor.  It being Homecoming and a semi-formal dance, the trolls were decked out appropriately in hats, glitter, and togas.  Fairy lights were strung across the ceiling, some twined with streamers and some dripping glitter and confetti across the dance floor. 

The walls were decorated with blown up pictures of significant events at Fandom: Graduations, the school blowing up, the Christmas pageants, plays, carnivals, zombies, all the moments that make Fandom Fandom.  Given a place of honour on the walls were a mock up of an exploding volcano, a massive gremlin in a bow tie, and, of course, the Stickbug flag.

Large lit up snowmen congregated around the punch bowl against a snowy backdrop and across the ballroom near the stage, there was a mural of large dinosaurs reaching up to enjoy a glittery streamer dinner.  The wall of the door though had the biggest picture of all - a painting of the island at night from across the water.

As students dropped off their wraps, they were pointed to vote for Homecoming Court then encouraged to proceed into the ballroom.

All cleaned up from the afternoon getting soaked, Aly was at the party, keeping tabs on everything.

She turned to him with a smile. "Why thank you. You look awfully debonair yourself."

"I do, don't I?" Josh replied modestly. "I'd do a little turn on the catwalk, but that's Ares' thing."

"Also if you did, I might get the urge to throw another pie," she teased. "And that would go poorly with your tux."

"And I'm not Skywalker, so sulky doesn't look as good on me," Josh agreed with a grin.

Not so much, no," Aly agreed, pulling at the lapel of his tux. "Guess I'll have to refrain from pie throwing."

Josh leaned in for a quick kiss. "An excellent decision. I have my dancing shoes on and everything. It would be a shame to waste them."

"Well, I could certainly check my dance card and see if I have any openings," she teasing, kissing him back.

Aly smirked at him and turned away slightly, extracting a card from her bag. "Hmmm," she said, perusing it carefully. "I might just have an opening."

Oh, Like Deadpool couldn't tilt his head and check out the very nice lines of Aly's dress. He whistled appreciatively. "Niiiiice."

Wade examined her closely. "I dunno. Maybe if you had more dramatic make up..."

Aly raised an eyebrow. "What? You're a makeup expert? You want me to look like Janice or something?"

Wade just looked down toward her chest, one eyebrow raised in return. "Don't think you'll have that problem."

Wade had to give that one to her. "True. Even if they aren't as impressive and suffocatey as Lulu's, whose I believe are real. Emma? HA! More plastic than Janice."

Aly smirked. "If I had boobs as impressive as Lulu's, I would fall over on my face," she pointed out.

Wade grinned slyly. "Aww, does your chest need a hug to help ease the pain of not being large enough to make you top heavy?"

"You were certainly enjoying the chest hugs yesterday," Aly replied just as slyly.

Arashi smiled seeing Aly and nodded to her. "You look very nice Aly," he grinned, looking not to shabby himself in his hokage jacket with a red robe and black hakama.

Aly beamed at him and gave him a tiny curtsy. "Thank you very much. You look rather distinguished as well tonight."

"Thank you," he said and bowed his head slightly, beaming in return. "Seen Wade yet? He was the one who insisted that I sign up for this."
