The first thing that might be noticed when students walked into the Town Hall was the towering stone troll statues that had been dragged in to grace the corners of the dance floor. It being Homecoming and a semi-formal dance, the trolls were decked out appropriately in hats, glitter, and togas. Fairy lights were strung across the ceiling, some twined with streamers and some dripping glitter and confetti across the dance floor.

The walls were decorated with blown up pictures of significant events at Fandom: Graduations, the school blowing up, the Christmas pageants, plays, carnivals, zombies, all the moments that make Fandom Fandom. Given a place of honour on the walls were a mock up of an exploding volcano, a massive gremlin in a bow tie, and, of course, the Stickbug flag.

Large lit up snowmen congregated around the punch bowl against a snowy backdrop and across the ballroom near the stage, there was a mural of large dinosaurs reaching up to enjoy a glittery streamer dinner. The wall of the door though had the biggest picture of all - a painting of the island at night from across the water.

As students dropped off their wraps, they were pointed to vote for Homecoming Court then encouraged to proceed into the ballroom.

"I don't know that you deserve to hear about who I thought I was dating..." he smirked. It was a good story.

"Awww, pleeeease?" she wheedled. "I totally could have started teasing you way before now. Please tell. Pleeease?"

"Okay, okay," he grinned. "Well, Lana thought I was the other me and I didn't know any better and believed her that we were dating."

"Ohmygosh!" Molly said, very surprised. "How did she not know? She's met you before. And if she remembered him, she must have had her memory."

"She was pretty drunk," John said. "I was confused because, as I should've, I'd assumed I was with Jaina."

Molly nodded. "Poor Lana. I heard Jim left. That must have been after," she said. "What did you do? You didn't..." she couldn't finish and gave a little shake of her head as she looked up at him, waiting for his answer.

"No! Oh no! I just talked to her and walked her back to the dorms," John was glad his amnesia-ed self had managed not to do anything stupid.

Molly sighed and gave him a pat on the shoulder. "Good John," she said. "I'm glad I don't have to hit you for being a stupid boy."

"Well, at the time I thought I was a cheating boy, so I'm glad I ended up being neither," he said. "And that was all after the mini golf woman propositioned me."

Molly gave him a look of surprise again. "Wow! Isn't she a little old? She should know better."

"Apparently she has a lot of money," he laughed. "She offered to buy me a plane, too."

"Wow," Molly repeated with a shake of her head. "What else happened?"

"Isn't that all enough?" he laughed. Of course, there was more, but he was amused.

"You did a lot more than I did when your memory was gone," she said with a shrug. "And your stories are always amusing. I want to make sure I don't miss any good stuff."

"I was pretty active that weekend," he wondered if he would've been less so had he woken up with his memory. "What did you and Karal do?"

Molly smiled softly and got kind of a far away look in her eyes. "He brought me dinner and we took a ride on Trenor."

Now it was his turn to tease, "Molly and Karal, sitting in a tree..."

Molly just laughed at that.

"I guess I should say, sitting on a horse, but that doesn't sing-song as well," he laughed.

"The funny thing was, he never told me we were dating," Molly said, still grinning.

"He didn't?" John was surprised. "I wouldn't liked someone to have cleared that stuff up for me. Did he say why?"

Molly shrugged. "He didn't want me to have to take the word of someone I'd just met."

"How gentlemanly of him," John remarked. "But then, he is a priest. I shouldn't be surprised by politeness and will power."

"Nope," Molly said. "He doesn't have trouble with any of that."
