Edmund is in, still reading travel brochures and giving thanks that he never did anything foolish like have children.

All and Sundries is open and Edmund is eminently tormentable.

[ooc: It's nigh on 7am (sort of) and I've had less than two hours of sleep. I'm off to grab a couple more and then will be back for Edmund to be rude to small children. Aaaand, I think I'm back.]

Luke's Diner - Open [Saturday]

Luke is especially cranky this morning. Lorelai overate at the Faculty party the night before and spent the entire night sick. And when he left this morning, she was moaning about writing final exams and grading papers and projects.

He was kind of glad he had given one of his npc employees vacation so he'd be stuck at the diner all day. Dealing with the people of Fandom couldn't be any worse than dealing with his pregnant wife.

Daniel yawned as he pushed open the door. His phone call to Sam (in Colorado) last night had gone on later than he'd been expecting. He suspected that might have to do with the different time zones, and also that she needed an ear to bend about everything.

Now he needed to talk to the Sam here (this was complicated) but he wanted coffee first.

And maybe he'd sit down and read the paper while he was at it.

Archie had gone all the way up to the East Attic to pick up Veronica for their date. That was what she called it, anyway, but he liked to think of it as very special play time, and that was why he had two toy boats with him as they approached the duck pond.

"Will you show me how this one works?" he asked, indicating the remote control boat. "I don't know how to play with it yet."

Maureen was furious, teary, wet, and oh yes, furious. "C'mon, Esme. Stupid Anakin Banana-head. I hope you drive in a ditch!" She yelled after the golfcart. "I hope you get a flat tire! I hope you get DETENTION!"

Still fuming and clutching her bunny, she started off down the street. Stupid boy.

Artie was more rambunctious than usual, as though he could tell there was something unusual going on on the island that weekend. He was out and about with his trampoline, a playground ball, and a football helmet.
