Tyler was not at all nervous as he sat at a window table in the Perk and waited for Max to pull up.

He was the calm little center of Fandom.

The shredded napkins piled near his hands? That was just to keep his fingers busy.

GOB wasn't expecting much of a crowd tonight, so he sat back, poured himself a drink, had Tino duct tape the band back together, and requested that they play the best of Marvin Gaye.

He was in a very good mood. And Caritas was open.

Lucas came downstairs late in the afternoon to see how Nadia was doing at the shop . . . and discovered it hadn't even been opened.

She was probably lucky that he'd been spending some time with Elle. Otherwise, he might have actually had to fire her. Instead he shrugged and opened up the store, albeit pretty late.

Someone would have to put a stop to this, eventually. . . .
