Cassie came in after her class, arriving promptly at 9:00. Apu didn't trust her with the register, so he told her to go about straightening the shelves and cleaning the floors, today.

Baby CUBE jiggled at her. Amazingly, this did not freak out Cassie. She merely raised an eyebrow and went about her work.

Teddy crept into the shop today, hoping no one noticed he forgot about last week. It had been very busy and well...

He was on break and remembering what weekday it was without class was kinda hard!

Feast of Saint Theophan the Recluse
"God abandons no one. For Him all are children. None are step-children." --Theophan.
"Or orphans!" --addendum by Sister Rosette.

Rosette figured that the best way to celebrate the feast of a recluse was to be reclusive herself, curling up in a pew and reading some of Theophan's work. She kind of liked the guy; she found him kind of funny. And the fact that he was a modern saint (especially in her perspective of time) really helped.

Feeling a bit restless and not sure what to do with herself while people were in classes, Tori decided to hit the park and go for a jog.

Her first class had been yesterday and it had been fun. She didn't have another class until Thursday, so she wasn't sure what she was going to do to pass the time. For now, running seemed like a good idea.

It wasn't raining yet, so it was as good a time as any to be out and about, getting in some exercise.

[OOC: Open! Slowplay for a bit, errands to complete.]

Having survived the previous day, Cameron showed up for his shift after Home Economics. He checked to make sure his boss wasn't around and relaxed when he couldn't see him right away. Maybe he should look into the sign language thing either way.

After cleaning up some tables, he moved behind the counter and looked around for a sheet of paper that might do as sign. He wrote "All food is non poisonous and will not make you sing or think you're an otter" on it and regarded the sign for a moment. After some consideration, he propped the sign up against the salt and sugar shakers on the counter.

Jane walks into the bar...

She says, "What's that smell.?"

Tino explains there was a bit of a carbon condition.

Jane opens the bar.

You wanted a joke? Sorry, I got nothin'.

[ooc: I'll be out for a few, please mod Tino.

The breeze coming in off the ocean was chilly and Isabel was glad she'd brought the extra blankets. But the cold and the rapidly approaching darkness worked in her favor. It meant there should be no one around to hear what she was fairly certain was going to be a difficult conversation.

She spread a blanket out on the beach, reached for her hot chocolate and sat down to wait.

[Conversation between Jack & Isabel is locked to them. Otherwise the beach is here for all your sand and surf needs. Okay to say they were at the beach. Conversation itself is NFB.]

Nothing needed to be repaired, and the daily disinfection and laundry was done, so Jarod was behind the desk, trying to learn about bad movies in time for his date Thursday. There was also a plate of chocolate-covered key lime pie slices in the refrigerator with a small sign that said "for Becky and Miho".

He was not above bribery if it meant Becky and Miho wouldn't harass him about Jaye.

Leo was changing a flickering flourescent lightbulb. Well, he would be if he could stop being hypnotized by it.

Photo Hut is open.
