The tables had been rearranged this morning to make room for the breakfast buffet, with all the standard breakfast fixings: waffles, home fries, hash browns, pancakes, toast, and an alarming number of sausages. The kitchen staff was also on hand to cook up any custom omelette or frittata orders, as well as any lunch-type food you might have in mind.

They'd be much happier to do it if Yitzhak weren't occasionally popping into the kitchen to give them death glares.

At least he only did that occasionally. The rest of the time, he was out with his microphone and karaoke system behind the buffet, ready to take song requests. Just because he was the manager didn't mean he wasn't going to have a tip jar ready, either.

[OOC: Minor OCD is ready to go, and brunch is in session. ETA: Heading out for an hour or two to run some errands, but I'll be back.]

Today was just mostly just a continuation of yesterday for the twins, music playing while they wrote the shop guide and did put-off homework as does their mun

Shuichi was just feeling plain exhausted. Friday's surprise party had ended with some new-found worry about Yuki and his deadlines. He'd spent the rest of the weekend trying to keep up Yuki's positivity and helping him to not crash headfirst into his computer (which he'd nearly done three times).

Tonight, he decided to keep it low-key and slumped over the counter, waiting for anyone to come in who might want a Sunday drink before another terrible Monday rolled in.

The Devil's Nest is Open~

Setsuna had ducked out of the memorial service early; she had stayed as long as she could handle without growing too apprehensive, but the sharp, conflicted feelings inside of her still stayed strong. The snow prevented her from going for a flight, so she merely walked through it, hoping the white flakes would help distract her from things. She didn't even know what she was trying to distract herself from; she didn't understand how she was feeling, they were all just...vague emotions of confusion and sadness and lonliness, worry and distress and self-loathing, all of which really didn't make that much sense because, for the most part, she was disconnected from all of that had happened with Belthazar. But the fact that he was the only one she'd ever known who was like her in nature seemed enough, and she didn't know what to do with herself or what she thought.

Brushing the snow off the back of a bench, Setsuna perched herself on it and looked up slightly at the light snow mixed with sharp, cold rain, clinging under her umbrella to keep it from touching her and turning into a bird. Maybe she should let it touch her, though. Birds didn't have to worry about things like this...

Fred was a little tired of the snow. He'd seen and experienced enough cold. It was time to pull out... the awning. Fred went into the closet upstairs in his room and pulled out a slightly dusty striped awning. It was (unsurprisingly) warm. He took it downstairs and set it down just outside the door. Fred pulled out his wand and set the awning in place by magic, which was far easier than trying to get a step ladder and use rope and nails and one of those little leveler-thingies with the bubble inside... Once the awning was set up, the small space under it--conveniently just big enough for a beach-type chair--became well lit and warm. Fred put on his swim trunks and some suntan lotion, and sat out under the awning, comfortably warm. He pulled out his Advanced Potion Making book, still amazed at himself for having kept it, and began to look through it to see if he could find anything useful for Pippi.

In order to keep things nice and simple since Tori just got back from the cheer competition, Jim thought Pizza Planet seemed like a good place for a date. "Fine dining at its finest," Jim said when they sat down.

[OOC: Thread with [livejournal.com profile] water_wonder locked to them, please, but Pizza Planet is open for all of your other space pizza needs!]

GOB was, on occasion, a man of his word. Usually when it was much easier than lying. In this case, it was, because if he didn't wear the damn Mountie suit then the damn Mountie would do his best to annoy him.

It also didn't matter. He needed to get used to the costume for the trip he was taking tomorrow.

This week was going to be great.

[OOC: I am very distracted but around. Grab Tino if you need speedy service.]
