Café Fina, Saturday

Why, what's that fantastic tune playing through Fina today?

Why, it appears to be Let's All Go To The Lobby!

Where is the music coming from?

Why, it appears that Lumiere and a small portion of his staff have gone insane and started singing it for no good reason, prancing back and forth across the floor!

Ah, the wonders of Fina.

Today's Specials Board reads:
Let's all go to the lobby... to get ourselves some snacks!

... There's some fine print below.

The boss is nuts, but we're still open. Come on in and get food that doesn't consist of snacks, too.

It's probably fortunate that there's still enough sane staff to run a restaurant with.

(Travel-sized OCD is up! Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ihatedenmark for the idea for this! Lumiere is now out of commission while I go on Vacation for a few weeks, but Naminé will be around to open it up on Mondays and Thursdays. Today is very much with the moddy, as I'll be working and packing!)

Stan was celebrating the Solstice. By walking along the beach a day or so after it actually happened, barefoot with his pants legs rolled up as the surf played with his tootsies, tackle box in one hand, fishing pole in the other, and fishing supplies (large umbrella, comfy folding chair, newspaper to snore under) slung across his back.

Open! here fishy fish fish fiiiish

John woke up earlier than any teen should on a Saturday, like 10am!  He went for a run and ended up in town at The Perk for some coffee, the breakfast of champions.  Perk coffee is so much better than camp coffee.

[ooc: OPEN!]

Groovy Tunes, Saturday

Charlie was camping, and Melody was working.

She was not jealous. Much. Even though it was a totally gorgeous weekend and she wanted to be out in the woods with the animals and the plants and everything.

Melody thought for a moment, then put a "Nature Sounds" CD on the in-store sound system, and assumed a cross-legged pose on the stool behind the counter. She would meditate herself into the preserve if it took all shift.

Groovy Tunes was open.

"Oh for God's sake Leo!" the Red puppet griped. "Look at this place! What'd you do, go on a week long dope binge?" The dummy sat inanimately on the counter, propped up against the register, positioned so it was facing Leo as he cleaned.

Photo Hut is open.

Aiden made sure to have a lazy morning in preparation for today. Spa days were no good without having the proper groundwork laid down beforehand.

She made her was down to Theodoric of York for about midday, and settled in an arm chair in the lobby to read Cosmo and drink water with cucumbers in while she waited for Millie and Mary to show.

[[ooc: Aiden is here for [livejournal.com profile] montecito_east and [livejournal.com profile] livingasheth, but anyone who wants to join their girly spa day is more than welcome! The mini bit of OCD is coming up.]]

Bel was busily trying to set things up for Anders's surprise birthday party. He'd handwavily picked up a cake earlier, along with a bunch of pizzas. Phoebe wasn't feeling very well, but she was supposed to bring Anders there at 7:30, or just send him down if she wasn't feeling up to it.

The Underworld wasn't big on parties. Bel was a little out of his element here.

[OCD coming is up!]

Another quiet night at the Devil's Nest. At least, Musubi was hoping so; it was nice and peaceful last night and the same would be nice. At the same time, though, she wouldn't exactly turn her nose up at something exciting.

The Devil's Nest is open.

[[ same as last night. mod Musubi, as Setsuna is away ]]

"Cat, I am warning you..."

Not Tiddles gave him the look, the one known to all cat owners, and by those who'd just had the little buggers move in, and continued turning the account books into confetti.

Moist reached a tentative hand out to grab the...sweet little creature and snatched it back when she swiped at him. He knew when he was beaten. "Gladys, deal with this, will you? Get the thing off my desk."

"Yes Mr Von Lipwig." Gladys lifted cat, account books, confetti and all off the desk.

And deposited them in his chair.

"Not quite what I had in mind, but it'll do," he muttered, suspecting Gladys might just be taking the mickey, and wheeled the chair into the back room. If it happened to be just a little bit too close to the Sorting Engine, well, it wasn't his fault if she decided to jump in.

The Post Office was open.
