Bridge? Still just as bouncy as yesterday. Though every so often he remembers that this is probably going to be his last shift at the shop, and that makes him briefly frowny. But then the frowniness is replaced with omg getting married in a week.

Stark Industries is open, and RIC is back in one piece and looking around warily for any small children.

Viki had wound up teleporting to work today, severely unimpressed with the sheer number of spiders that were lurking, and scuttling, and watching, and was glad, at least, that the lobby seemed mostly clear.

The moment she’d started to relax, of course, was the moment that a spider the size of her hand scuttled towards. Viki blinked. She hadn’t the option of fleeing now, Miss Mary was paying her to stay here, but still—

It was just another blink and the spider was gone from the lobby.

She’d teleported it to somewhere in the preserve. Viki wasn’t picky, today, about location as long as it was ‘away from her’.

The Collins clock tower hadn't exactly been Silver Hills's most desirable residential property, so it wasn't as if a few spiders and crawly creatures bothered Jen.

A whole freaking lot of them, on the other hand, were a little more bothersome; the gigantic cockroaches made her cringe a little, although the geckos and skinks were cute and the Eastern Bearded Dragon was worth a double-take and a picture or two. It was when the swarm of hornets she agitated while watching the bearded dragon and trying to walk at the same time started chasing her that the whole thing got a lot less fun, though.

She could have run. She could have relaxed when the wee, whipcracking stockman rode in.

Instead, just like she'd done a few weeks ago when being swarmed by tiny pirates, Jen made it the rest of the way to work in an insane somersaulting sequence. It wasn't remotely practical or sensible at all, but it seemed like the best option to her. It just did.

The town hall was completely critters free. A group of stockmen had decided to take the task upon themselves to make the building bug free so all attendants could enjoy themselves without having to worry. Roy for a moment had debated calling off the event, but when no serious incident had come to him he decided to let it go through after all.

The hall was brightly decorated. There were no fireplaces this time around, but the ice theme seemed to continue as there was a clone trooper ice sculpture near the entrance of the hall. There were the usual tables with food to the side of the hall, most of it seemed to come from Chilly Boulder. But not the chocolate fountain. Roy wasn't going to say where he had that one from.

((Wheee ball! As with all PMB's this is adults only. Townies dating alumni are free to bring their date, however. OCD coming up! OCD is up!))

Toby had barely made it to work for all the creepy bugs lurking everywhere. He slammed the door to the shop and made a run for the counter, thinking if he stayed up high, he'd be safe.

He was watching the floor for ants and giant worms and things when a huge spider fell on his bare shoulder.

Toby screamed and smacked it away as he ran through the store in search of safety.

Pixie Dust was open.

Jaye had managed to escape the creepy crawlies on her way to work, though she'd be having random shudders all night, but thanks to that bat about a block away from Caritas, she rushed in yelling "IT'S IN MYHAIR GET IT OUT GET IT OUT GET IT OUT."

When Tino raised his eyebrows at her, Jaye realized that the bat had not actually been in her hair.

"I'm fine. Just testing you. Shut up."
