Hinata found herself, for whatever reason, unable to concentrate particularly well on any book despite her attempts of make herself focus. Not even the play could hold any of her attention today.

At least, she decided, watching as Yei explored the shop, there was nothing she absolutely had to concentrate on. Her lines she knew well enough, it was just soothing to go through them again and try not to fret about how badly it could go in front of a lot of people.

The Perk, Tuesday Morning

Ino was fifteen today.

Well. Officially fifteen after spending months as unofficially so. Technically, if she included her time in the past, she was fifteen and seven months or so today.

Peculiarly enough, rather than a celebratory mood, it all had her in a rather thoughtful one instead as she curled up in the largest, most comfortable chair that the Perk had with a hot chocolate (with extra whipped cream today), and just watched the street.

A lot had happened in a year.

Today Temari had an atlas to study.

And was boggling a bit over just how large this world turned out to be. There was no wonder why they needed cars and the like if everything was this far apart. Still didn't make it any less strange, of course.

At the front desk, Mary was going through receipts and frowning. "Gunther, is there a reason that you had to two of everything?" she asked. "No, wait. The better question is why are you still working here? I should have fired you after that stunt you pulled last week."

She was in a much better mood after Gunther left to return all his frivolous purchases.

Geoffrey was no longer a beaver.

Geoffrey would probably twitch at the mention of the animal, would startle at the picture of one, and had a strange tendency to pat things lately... but he was no longer a beaver. He was, thankfully, a director once again and as such, he opened the door for rehearsal this morning with a bagel in hand and a host of new ideas bubbling about in his brains.

The talking utensils wasted no time getting Lion-o to the kitchen this morning. After a couple weeks of indulging him in sweet treats, they thought it was time he actually learned something about gourmet food.

Teyla was very grateful that the latest island madness had passed with everyone still relatively in tact. The sensation of the Wraith presence had gone away, leaving her tired but feeling much safer. Still, the music playing in the store was more quiet and subdued than what Teyla usually went with. She just wasn't in the mood for peppy songs today.

G'Kar was going through some more catalogs, seeing if there was anything the store needed to re-stock on. And with the changing seasons, probably a good idea to bring in some fall wares as well.

He did wonder what all this 'Halloween' stuff pertained to, however.

Marshall had accidentally locked himself in the storage closet at the beginning of his shift. Throughout the night a banging from the inside said closet could be heard. Tino had the keys but was taking his time letting Marshall out. He liked Marshall but the constant chatter about Lily and Space Battles could get grating after a while.
