Lacey's first order of business, upon arriving ridiculously early, was to make sure the floor was thoroughly swept and every corner cleaned out.

Her second order of business was to create an elaborate arrangement of . . . well, branches, mostly, in the front window; it was meant to be a touch of nature, but looked more like the Worst Planned Bonfire Ever.

Backfired Good Ideas 12, Lacey 0. All was right with the world.

Joan was rather confused when she arrived at work. She was still adjusting to the whole Daylight Savings Time thing and she did a triple take when she saw the sign outside.

Her confusion only grew when she entered the shop and saw the large bags of flour. Was this some new side business that Ms. Doolittle had neglected to mention?

With a shrug, she set about getting the shop ready for the day. She figured that it was better not to touch anything without instructions.

Romeo had noticed the sundress display at Things Reborn, and he decided Pixie Dust could do better. So there were sundresses on some mannequins in the shop window, while others wore men's spring shirts.

He was glad to have the fussy business of setting up the display; it felt good to keep busy, and out of his head.

Pixie Dust was open.

Daisy typically didn't believe in cases of the Mondays, except in rare instances, so it was really no surprised that she was in a fairly good mood as she worked, an earbud plugged into one ear, at transcribing some of the weekend's broadcasts for the records, as she did every Monday, despite probably being the only one who ever used them, especially since it's not like they ever needed them to investigate much.

It was better than going and doing more of Kowalski's paperwork for him, though.

Digging through a stack of new comics to keep them organized, Teddy had found himself distracted by the fact that--somehow--a deck of Pokemon meta Pocket Monster cards had ended up in there.

And now he couldn't stop looking the new ones over and mentally complaining about how they were better when he was a kid.

Yesterday had been pretty quiet for Chad and Chad was thinking that today could be pretty quiet, too. He took care of a few official-type things once he got in, but they never took too long so he was soon back at the counter, leaning (carefully) on it with a few magazines of assorted fashion and music varieties, idly thinking on when the club should get to organizing this semester's karaoke contest, especially since it seemed to have gone really well last time.

Worf had received a bunch of forms in the mail recently. Something called a one thousand and forty form. And even though it was dull work and mind numbing, Worf felt obligated to complete it.

As a result Worf was pondering his "occupation" at Wellspring today. Technically his occupation was sales but he didn't sell anything. And while there was a meditation area, he did not consider "meditator" to be a position. Or even a real world.

And even though he did a lot of cleaning in the store, he'd prefer not to be called a janitor. There's very little honor there.

So Worf went with "Warrior" being his occupation.

Which probably guaranteed him being audited.

While Ender was wondering what Ben was up to, he wasn't going to let that monopolize his time. He shunted the worry off to a corner of his mind and then set his brain to work.

The rhythm of the code on his screen was kind of absorbing after a while. He got a lot of work done.

Cable had been a little... busy... the past few days. The crib now stood well-built at home, though, and he'd reorganised the old baby room to fit a toddler.

... Don't ask about the books he read.

He still wasn't leaving her alone (or with anyone else), though, which meant that today was Bring Your Toddler To Town Hall Day.

"Naaaaa!"

There would probably be many more to come.

Tomorrow was the gun club field trip, so Triela was a bit... distracted. She sort of forgot to do anything other than open the HQ and take a seat at the desk before she got engrossed in planning. This was going to be so much fun!

For one moment, before realizing just how insane an idea it was, she considered inviting her bosses.

Then she shuddered.

The Gig, Monday

Bender had acquired a small TV and propped it up on the anvil in the smithy. There wasn't any Blurnsball on, the nearest he'd come to had silly hats but no body count, but he'd sat back to watch anyway.

The signal, though? It might have been coming across the galaxy for all he could make out of the screen. Bender picked up an unnecessarily sized hammer and took a swipe at the aerial.

The Gig was open and clags and curses were echoing from the smithy.

Arashi was having a really hard time adjusting to the Daylight savings timw switch and had been dragging all day. After opening the bar he sat down in a corner and past out fast asleep leaving Tino to man the bar.
