Katchoo had a weird and unexplained craving for a tamale this morning -- not sure why, she'd just woken up with it. Not something frozen or from a chain restaurant, either, but the kind of tamale you bought from a street vendor at Sunset Junction, someone selling them out of a drink cooler in a parking lot on Santa Monica and Silver Lake at 2 in the morning. She hadn't had one of those since before she'd stolen Kevin Spacey's steak. Weird way to mark time, but that'd been the day she'd met Emma and after that . . .

Stupid unfulfilled craving. It made for a pensive and really quite frankly quiet Katchoo who went about the usual morning cleanup routine, then sat behind the counter drumming her pencil on the counter beside her sketchbook, staring out the window.

[OOC: I could drink a case of you and still be OCD-free. As with Gabrielle, AFKness pretty much all evening today . . .]

Jack spent much of his work day cleaning off the outside of the building with a broom and a hose, trying to get all the veggie muck off and then trying to get all the regular muck off the building. Yuck. Somebody needs to clean these places more often--ding!

He had a great idea, and spent the rest of the day working on a business plan to start cleaning Fandom buildings.

More care packages for Reno today, to keep Dinah's mind on her job and to try to prevent dwelling on Claire's bad news about Peter last night. She found herself looking at the lilies more often than she wanted to, though.

Aphrodite had cleaned up the store after the great salad rebellion of the day before, and had decided to stay away from mortal food for a while.

Except for leftover Halloween candy. That still seemed safe.

Today she was looking through catalogs and choosing new items for the holidays.

"Ooh, yes, at least one of those. Would be interesting to see who buys it." She grinned and flipped the page. "Oh, yes. I think there are a few couples who would enjoy that."

She spent several long moments staring at one particular option before sighing and turning the page.

"Nah. Mortals are so easily offended."

Hercules tilted his head as if to ask, and goddesses aren't?

"Shut up, Herc."

Decadent Delights is open.

(ooc: Links NWS! Post open, though I'm AFK for a couple of hours. Back this afternoon, late, for all your, ahem, RP desires.
. . . I swear, I've been playing the goddess for too long . . .)

Fussing with the plants took far longer than it normally did and Ino was totally using the excuse that she had to make sure they were fine after the attack of their veggie brethren to further her own urge to fuss and coo over them.

When that was done, though, she curled up in Cable-san's chair and nibbled on a pen cap while she studied.

After classes and reserves, Didi and Jono had agreed to meet in town for CD shopping and a movie.

They'd bought rather more CDs than they probably needed -- employee discounts were good, tempting things -- and got to the theater just in time.

"This should be good," she told him, straightening her cap as they stood in line for tickets. "I always liked the book, anyhow."

Alice was pleased that traveling to work today had not involved any altercations with the produce section.

She was thinking of putting together a vegetable mix, and perhaps naming it something ridiculous such as "Tossed Salad."

Groovy Tunes was open.

Alex was down to two employees out of four, so it seemed as good a time as any to put the Now Hiring sign back in the window. It looked nice, resting just beneath

The Law Offices of Cabot and Associates

Technically, she didn't have any associates, any longer, in the proper legal sense, but she doubted anyone in this town would be a stickler for such details.

Marshall still wasn't used to his new night. Everything seemed the same but Wednesday had a different vibe. A middle of the week vibe. It was weird.
