Okay, so the gallery was...kind of a wreck after Certain Events of this weekend, which, Jill was so not cut out for that kind of thing. She bet Jack would have loved it. But. Gallery. Wrecked. That just meant cleaning! Lots and lots of cleaning. And cleaning, Jill could totally do. Someone had obviously already done some sorting, but she wasn't sure what to do about any damaged art that was left, so she just left it where it was.

Any art that remained intact was on the walls, Jill was hard at work, and the gallery was open.

Spock was alert and on the lookout for any stragglers from this weekend's infestation today. Yes, he was aware that none had been sighted yesterday, but he did not believe that reason to conclude they were entirely gone. More time would prove that. Therefore, as he went about his duties at Stark Industries, he kept a sliver of his attention open in the event of unexpected movement or sound, particularly in his peripheral vision. He was not wary so much as alert. Just in case.

Stark Industries was open.

Jack was pissed off and determined to clean up the mess left over from the gremlins and everything else. Clean the whole store. That's the ticket.

A weekend spent using her bloodlimit and keeping gremlins from getting anywhere near her and Yei (mostly Yei, it had to be admitted, Hinata was more than capable of keeping herself in one piece) meant that she'd literally slept the day away and trailed into Book Haven feeling slightly guilty about her sloth.

Even if it had been sloth well earned.

Yei, for her part, was just happy that she was allowed out of the room again and was proving this by playing 'chase the dust bunny' and causing a cheerful sort of mayhem around the aisles.

Book Haven is Open.

A good night's sleep after a whole bunch of conversation (and a movie that she'd actually enjoyed!) meant that Ino was all but dancing around the shop as she worked, trying to deal with excess energy. Hyper, she was hyper, could they have more gremlins to fight off?

Well, if other people managed to stay unhurt, after all, that had been the only unfun part about it. The actual fighting on the other hand… awesome.

The only thing that held her attention was catching up on the notes other people had been leaving and adding her own to the mess:

Of course we're serious, come on! And I agree about the roses, actually, they are just insane during their time. Tulips, by contrast, ain't nearly so aggressive.

If you were looking for Loki today, just follow the long string of cursing and you'd find him all over the lobby and apartment building, trying to clean the gremlin guts off walls, floors and various other places. Sure, he'd had fun kicking those little fuckers but he hadn't foreseen the cleanup and now he was cursing every single fucking thing he could.

How could something so small make such a fucking mess? When the handle of the mop broke off in his hand, Loki slung it at a wall and cursed some more. He was the fucking Angel of Death. He wasn't a fucking maid.

This day sucked.

The Imperial Brim was in ruins and most of her hats were either soiled or in pieces except, strangely enough, her Tin Foil Hat collection was practically untouched.

"I truly despise those creatures."

(OCD-less! OCD was smashed by the gremlins!)

While most of the rest of town was still recovering from the gremlin attack, T&C was spic, span, and ridiculously pristine. Apu had taken any gremlin who had the temerity to enter the store as a personal attack, and any remains as a further insult.

The store gleamed.

Didi walked through the aisles, a little creeped out by exactly how neat and in-place everything was, before settling at the counter with one of her gossip magazines. She was relieved to read Brad and Angelina weren't really breaking up.

Squishy flavors: Lemon, Pine, Red.

You'd think that with all the nasty gremlins being gone that the phone calls would be over with. Not so.

"Let me get this straight," Gibbs growled at the caller with no effort to hide his irritation. "You have a gremlin in your basement and you want to know if it's a nasty one or the one that makes you do crazy stuff? Uh-huh."

Gibbs rolled his eyes.

"Well if it bites you and then tries to kill you it's a bad one. If it bites you and you think you're Carmen Miranda then it's the other kind," he replied. "Yeah, I'll send someone."

"Ralph!" he called out as he hung up the phone. "I got a job for you!"

Ralph so hated his job.

It was a weird morning at the Perk. Because Kate and the waitstaff were genuinely nice to each other.

It wouldn't last long, but today they got through a conversation about how much damage the gremlins had done to the place, and whether everyone who worked there had escaped uninjured, and how much Kate's arm had hurt, and they were very civil about it. An invasion called for a temporary truce.

Kate asked about Warren's coat, too. It seemed important to him, and she understood why. And at some point, when they weren't being attacked by something or other, she was again going to tell him it wasn't necessary here. Even if it was a pretty nice coat.

She wasn't surprised to hear he'd come and reclaimed it already.

There were other things to do, later in the day, but now Kate was content to be sitting by the window, drinking hot chocolate with extra whipped cream – which she hadn't asked for – and eating a muffin or two.

[ooc: Open! In case anyone’s around. I'll be around for a few hours now, and then again in my afternoon.]

Lion-o had a crowd of Fina staff gathered around him as he shared his stories of fighting gremlins over the weekend. In the meantime, it was good ol' Snarf who did all the work to get the restaurant ready for customers.

After the events of the past weekend, it was time for a top-to-bottom cleaning of the lobby. That's why Mary was dressed in her sweats and pushing a mop instead of sitting behind the front desk. But that didn't seem to bother her. She actually liked scrubbing the floors.

Ever since the gremlin slaughter on the sixth floor, Raven had been hiding within herself, trying to erase the memory. The creatures were pure evil and only wished to cause pain and destruction, she reminded herself, but their deaths still resonated inside her. Worse still, she had inadvertently inflicted harm. She had tried to use her light to drive back the gremlins, but some had been pushed into its beam.

She wasn't sure what she would find at the store when she reported for work that afternoon, though she'd heard on the radio that 'Dite had been there to clean up. The shelves and walls were utterly bare, so she really didn't know if she should be there. Still, it was quieter in more ways than one than the dorms, so she settled behind the counter and just tried not to think of gremlins and death.

'Dite's Decadent Delights was open, but there really wasn't anything for sale at the moment.

[Now in the right comm. 'Dite's Decadent Delights is not opening a branch in the dorms. I blame the lack of caffeine when I posted. It's Tracy's fault for stealing my Dew.]

Rose didn't care if she was bobcat-shaped or what, it was Tuesday (she thought) and therefore, she had a job to do.

Protecting Atlas from the evil, evil dustbunnies and bits of towel that got caught in the corners.  They were plotting evil.  She knew it.

She also had to protect the gym from Jessi.  That annoying, pink-clad, 'KITTY!'-screeching wench.  One well-timed hiss and a growl that showed all her fearsome teeth, and Jessi seemed to have retreated.  Possibly for reinforcements, but Rose cared not.  Next time she'd bite.

Kris was there to make sure the horses were taken care of. As they were out in the paddock getting their exercise, she couldn't help thinking about Wildfire again. She was really thinking about going back to Fremont for a few days to visit him just to see if he was okay.

She shrugged that off quickly, though, and just focused on the horses here.

The Gig was open.

Geoffrey was a little late opening the theatre, mostly because he was trying to, er, repair? Clean? Fix up? the theatre.

The gremlins had done quite a job. Geoffrey was only lucky that the lighting hadn't gotten damaged (mostly because he'd used it to fight the little bastards off). He was actually up in the flies as most of the cast made their way in.

"Sorry!" he said, "just... yeah, I know the place looks like a hurricane went through it, but let's see if we can get this show going..."

Pause.

"Also, apologies for the Portuguese last weekend. I don't exactly know what came over me."

Today was a Guitar Day at the Groovy Tunes, damn it. Jono didn't care that this meant that he was dragging his guitar and amp across town for the second week in a row, and, really, he didn't exactly care that he was still wearing the same turtleneck sweater that he'd shrugged into yesterday morning, either.

His knuckles were scabbed over, he was a mess of bruises from head to toe, and he was still physically tired after the weekend, and emotionally drained after the rest of last week.

Today was a Guitar Day, damn it.

Robin was delighted that the little jackasses from the weekend were gone. It was bad enough that she had to live on an island populated entirely by children (or at least mostly), but then every now and then something even more annoying than Chuck Bass would come along.

And okay, she really hoped the gremlin stuff came out of her towels. Ewww.

So when she took her place behind the bar tonight, she picked up her bartender's guide and started reading up on interesting mixed drinks. She might have the Tuesday shift, but she was sure people would still want to be drinking after the weekend.

[I go a little slow around 8ish but otherwise I am aroooound!]

She and Dinah may have temporarily ended their training this didn't mean she would stop hers. But this time her training was less about her fighting skills but more of her control over her own lightning. Azula closed her eyes and returned to the basics.

Lightning required a peaceful mind. It required neither anger or rage.

She used to be a master of lightning and now she no longer had the calm that required the complete mastery over the element. It was something she must rectify.

Azula sat on one of the boulders, it was windy here and that was what she needed. Azula placed a candle in front of her and with a flick of her finger, lit the candle wick. It burned blue but it guttered in the wind, Azula placed all her will into the flame, willing it to stay still.

The goal was to keep the flame alive against the wind. It was not easy, the winds were against her. She narrowed her eyes and she kept her place. She will not lose to nature.
