Sure there was always a gym, but it seemed there was almost never a visible John within. Today was no different as the manager snoozed off a cold on the office sofa, letting his temporary minion yoga instructor-turned-tae bo queen take over his cardiofunk class.

It might take a little extra knocking to get his attention, but John had to wake up eventually. NyQuil didn't last forever.

[idk why I'm writing a post when I should've left for work ten minutes ago...OCD-free!]

In the further adventures of Cally being not exactly the most safety-minded parent, she'd developed a special toy to give Nicky a bit more mobility than the bouncy catapult chair.

Effectively, she'd put him in an inflatable, toddler-sized hamster ball and let him run loose in the loose. Or... as much as little Nicky could run.

She kept a close eye on him in between going through paperwork and reading her latest sparkly vampire novel. The events of Sunday had not curbed her terrible reading habits.

Ellie arrived at the hotel with her biology textbook and cup of coffee. She planned to do a little studying anytime she found some free time. Usually when she did not have to answer the phone or organize the front desk.

There were a few new shipments of sports equipment and various team jerseys. After unpacking them, Lindsay wandered around the store in order to place the new items on the shelves. She didn't mind being a little extra busy today. At least she wasn't bored.

Helen was here, but she and the horses were both indoors today.

"Really?"

Woof! probably didn't translate directly to --

Yes, really. I needed to drag you to work today at the end of your leash -- yours, not mine -- and plant myself just inside the door where hopefully everyone will trip over me. It was a moral imperative. After all, where else would I find such tasty butcher-paper to chew on?

-- in Saint Bernard language, but it was close enough for Cally to pick up the gist.

"Right, then."

One roll of butcher paper: modified by employee discount. Perhaps Nana would at least share and let her do some watercolouring on a scrap or two.

[Open and furry. Don't trip over the mountain in front of the door.]

Tara was doing a bit of clock-watching today, and a bit of distracted cleaning of things that didn't really need to be cleaned. She took some time to claim a few books that might help her develop as a witch, too.

Mostly, though, she was waiting -- first for Kennedy to show up with lunch, then for the time when they could close the shop and head off the island for a long weekend. She had a feeling Kennedy was looking forward to the normalcy, too.

[OOC: Mod your service today, please! Kennedy modded with permission.]

George was at work. They could pay her to be here, but they couldn't make her act happy about it, so she wasn't going to. She was going to glare at things -- Apu especially -- and stare off into space.

If she got bored enough, she might just spell out obscenities with paperclips.

Rikku was in an awesome mood, thank you very much. She'd been a moogle, for Halloween! And then she'd been a real Moogle! And she and Reno had galloped through town, handing out candy, and that had been fairly awesome. How many people could say they'd been a candy-distributing Aeon!?

So now, she was working on rewiring that same stubborn droid as last week, but she was humming to herself cheerfully as she did so. She still had some Halloween candy left; that helped, too.
