As if the jellybeans from her shower this morning weren't enough, Ariel had discovered that those shiny eggs that were left on her seat whenever she got up from where she was sitting behind the counter at the music store were filled with chocolate. Chocolate and the most supremely delicious creamy center ever. Because Ariel was just the sort of person to have no reservations about eating randomly appearing, delicious chocolate treats, she found herself testing the process by sitting down and standing. Sitting and standing, and laughing in delight at the collection of Cadbury eggs that was growing on the counter.

Even better? The wrappers were so pretty, too! So whenever she sat to enjoy one, she very, very carefully unwrapped them, then smoothed them out nice and flat and perfect so she could enjoy the look of them, too.

It was just about the only calm thing she would do today, too, what with all the sugar.

It had been weeks since Dolf had been able to put in a decent shift at work - the weekend where he'd been shut inside the dorms had been a particularly memorable one. "It's quiet today," Dolf said, with a kind of determined cheerfulness as he picked peeps out of his hair.

Apu gave him an equally determinedly cheerful look back as he picked jelly beans out of his glass. Dolf gave him the thumbs up.

"I wonder where they're coming from," he added later, as he poked through the shelves for some tissues to wipe the chocolate stains out of his trousers. "Who is making these things? Do any of them say 'made in China'? Because I've read about what happens in China. They have these sweatshops, and--"

Apu shrugged. Then bleated.

Dolf pulled away from the shelf in confusion, then paused. And paused a little longer. And paused some more.

"...Hi," he told the small crowd of doe-eyed lambs. "Uh, sorry, we don't sell grass."

It had been a couple weeks since Firekeeper had been able to get a proper shift in at the Gig, but then, the end of a semester- especially when it was also the end of the school year- was always like that. Busy. Which she didn't mind, actually, it kept her from dwelling on the fact that friends would soon be packing up and leaving.

Of course, the strange sugary things falling from the sky were also pretty effective at keeping her from dwelling on things. The horses had managed to nibble a few of them, and now had far too much energy to work off in the pasture.

The pasture which... what is wrong with this grass? Blind Seer bitched as he attempted to curl up for a snooze. Whatever it was, it was getting all tangled in his coat and that was not on.

MYSTERY SIGN THEATRE
TODAY'S SHOWING:
Lily

Mitchell peered up at the sign with his hands stuffed inside his pockets and peeps bouncing gently off his forehead. In two weeks' time he still hadn't managed to be around when Eric was, and Kate's words were still ringing in his head. Gone gone gone dead dead dead--

He exhaled. Everything else was going fine. He had no reason to be driving himself crazy right now, maybe it was just a Fandom thi--

"Hey!"

A peep knocked his sunglasses right off his face. "Can't you see I'm brooding down here?!"

The skies remained silent.

Barring the peeps.
