Ariel knew that it had all passed and it was extremely unlikely to happen again, but she still couldn't help feeling a little disappointed that there weren't any eggs waiting for her when she got up while she was working at the shop today. So she supposed she was just going to sit and work on more seashell tops to match the bathing suit bottoms today.

As far as she knew, no one had bought any yet, but you never knew! And no one could buy them if she didn't make them first, right? Besides, it helped keep her away from the racks herself, because the last thing she needed was more clothes. Or shoes.

Ohmygosh, shoes.

Raven was most assuredly not getting into a Rumor Gal shipping war as she surfed the web on her laptop behind the counter that afternoon.

She was merely calmly explaining why someone was terribly wrong about their opinion that Claire and David were a wonderful couple, since clearly Claire and Charlie were meant to be. It was obvious, after all.

Tonight, Robin had a new obsession. No, it was not anything drink-related. How dare you suggest she actually do work at work? That was what Tino was for.

No, tonight Robin was leaning on the bar, her thumbs busily flicking across the screen every couple seconds. Occasionally, her efforts were punctuated with a, "Yes, finally." More often, though, there was a frustrated sigh heaved and an exclamation in the vein of, "STUPID GREEN PIGS WITH YOUR STUPID HELMETS."

"It doesn't even make sense," she added, after Tino kept staring at her for a particularly colorful outburst. "Why the hell would they want to take these birds' eggs? They have bombs. Dumb idea, green pigs. Dumb."

[...who, me, stuck on Angry Birds? Where?]

There had been far more graceful entrances to Fandom, but Isabela found that one rarely got to chose what first impression one made. No matter how hard one tried, or how graceful and stunning one was.

Gasping up half water was not something she considered graceful or stunning. Neither did she find it very comfortable and she was sure if this kept up she'd be hacking up a lung. By the time she was dryheaving, she was too exhausted to do much more than roll onto her back and be glad she was even breathing. The daggers she wore on her back poked uncomfortably against her bruises' bruises, but it was a miracle she still had them and so she'd just be grateful for that.

It was a while before she started paying attention to everything around her. Like how the weather was still too nice and balmy after that kind of storm and she abruptly sat up, frowning. She couldn't remember this kind of coastline near the Wounded Coast. Exactly how far had she swum?

"Balls," she groaned as she pushed to her feet and attempted to bring some sort of order to her bandanna and hair, but quickly gave up. Maybe if she walked far enough she'd find someone else of her crew. Or that blasted book.

[Oh so open as she hates me already. This follows after this]
