Annie had to wonder if she should worry that things were feeling just that much more normal today. It seemed a little fast to her to be getting used to this level of weird. But life went on, she wasn't a caffeine-addicted ex-stripper (seriously, Fandom?) anymore, and she had a campaign to run.

Uh, hope you didn't mind, Zayne.

Hermione was done fighting by owl. She'd had to send a letter off yesterday explaining her weekend, which she thought killed the arguing. Especially since she had a feeling after hearing about it, Ron might mind her being here just a little less. So there were no owls coming to work and disrupting things.

Which was good, because Hermione was doing her absolute best to stay busy and avoid thinking about things like threatening her boss for framing her for murder. While she was dead. That could be awkward.

Ugh, thank god the coffee was back on the island. Kennedy was not hung over from last night, but she'd had just enough that she was dragging today, and had there not been caffeine the poor barista would've gotten the full throw-Dad's-weight-around treatment. (The barista, apparently unaware of his narrow escape from that fate, went on with his work humming after Kennedy walked away with her quintuple shot extra-caramel caramel latte.)

Fandom's tiny streets were still such a contrast to Manhattan's, so-- wanting to sort of savor said contrast for a bit-- she took her drink and sat outside, frowning at her phone. Still no juicy news from Constance. Aw, man.

[[omg i have the day off and am around, though subject to spots of sp this morning while i run a couple of errands. yes, she's still here. what?]]

The park was a nice place to be. Open spaces, crazy ducks in the pond, picnic tables. Apparently the trees were good places to hang out as well.

Seifer was there, sitting on top of a picnic table under a tree, just watching the ducks. No, he wasn't avoiding people, not at all.

[Open park is open. Feel free to talk to Seifer or do your own thing. All threads with Seifer come BEFORE the one with Squall.]

Jaina had known staying in Fandom any more than a couple days was going to make things messy back home thanks to the time difference, but she didn't really realize how much. She'd gone about her business, part of which was stopping in at JGOB for coffee and something quick to eat. Then she'd made the mistake of checking her messages while waiting. And found that she had twice as many as she'd replied to yesterday.

So now she had decided to just stay here for a while, reading up on stuff on her datapad so she could get caught up on everything she needed to. It was really not an unfamiliar sight with her.

[So open.]
