The Perk, Saturday morning

After a long week involving studying, door decorating, and trying to convince his roommate to not stalk a girl out of jealousy (... and also proudly announcing that fact publicly via the contest, which was an argument he hadn't won yet), Dave needed to get out and get some really good coffee. And since he was from a pre-Starbucks time where double espressos essentially didn't exist, 'really good coffee' had a particularly surprising and wonderful definition to Dave.

As he settled in at a table with his coffee, Dave started flipping through a newspaper before realizing once again that this future world was kind of confusing and that he should probably stick to the funny pages for the sake of his poor brain. Honestly, he was okay with that.

Stark Industries | Saturday

Topher had no ice cream, no Snuggies, and no romance movies of any kind today at Stark Industries. He was moving on! Kind of.

Moving on meant clicking through a folder of photos on his computer, trying to choose the best one to put on his door for the Halloween door-designing contest. Because Dave wanted to participate, and Topher, as a good roommate, was happy to help them win it for sure. He deserved a medal or something.

MCA Lobby, Saturday

Zayne was happy to finally be all caught up with various bits of paperwork. Now he could focus on important things as he sat behind the counter in the lobby. Sure, it probably looked like he was sitting there with his eyes closed, maybe even taking a nap. But if asked, he'd tell everyone he was training by lifting weights inside the locked vault in the office. He was a trustworthy guy despite the whole former fugitive and con artist/thief thing. He'd probably be telling the truth as far as anyone could tell.

[OOC: Heading out to see Real Steel in a half hour, but back in the afternoon. ROCK 'EM SOCK 'EM: THE MOVIE. I've been waiting to finally go for weeks.

The Arms Hotel Lobby, Saturday

It had been a quiet week for Mary. Maybe she should have concerned because it was never a quiet week in Fandom. So it was not entirely a surprise when one of the maids came to the front desk and told Mary that there was a problem on the fifth floor of the hotel.

What sort of problem? Mary couldn't quite tell. When she got out of the elevator on the fifth floor, she found piles of mattresses blocking off access to the rest of the hallway. "Gunther is going to regret this when I'm finished with him," she mumbled when she got back into the elevator. It's just too bad that Gunther wasn't responsible for this mess.

Dani was outside carving pumpkins today. She would be working inside the barn, which was much warmer and drier. However, she discovered the hard way that the horses really liked to eat pumpkins. Also, the horses didn't like to wait until Halloween for their treats. The pumpkins were much safer outside.
