So for some reason, a van full of locksmiths came up to the hotel today just after Quinn got to work. Then another. Then another.

Either there were still a lot of broken doors, or somebody was playing a prank. Either way, the lobby was full of locksmiths, and some of them were heading toward the kitchen.

Gunther would be so pleased.

Lion-o was disappointed that Halloween had come and gone already. He spent most of his shift explaining to the kitchen staff that he planned to establish Halloween on his home planet after graduation. There would be a few changes, such as making Halloween a week-long event. He was sure that Snarf, Wileykat and Wileykit would back him up on that.

It was a slow day at the Magic Box, which really just meant Shira had already unpacked everything there was to unpack and was now casually exploring the store. It seemed like she came up with something new every week.

Some of it was even useful!

But really she was there to work. No, really.

Caritas | Wednesday

There wasn't much going on tonight at Caritas. Tino was down at one end of the bar, actually doing some work since the other bartender in attendance wasn't doing a goddamn thing.

Nathan wasn't behind the bar tonight. Nope, he was out in front of it, sitting on one stool with his legs kicked up on another and tossing peanuts at the band on the stage while they played songs he requested. Sometimes he requested songs when they were still playing something else just to fuck them up and make their arms fall off. If that happened, he made Tino go and tape them back up and the whole cycle started again.

Nathan was such a nice boy.
