Since Annie's last trip home had involved not getting there at all, she was staying here for the holidays. Which, she decided, was okay with her. It also meant that she was trying to encourage the droids to hang up some non-denominational decorations, like lights, around the place, but they didn't seem that into it. Maybe she should just find out what kinds of holidays they had over there first...

Cable had spent most of the past week... sleeping.

He had expended a lot of energy prior to that - had come close to losing himself again to the techno-organic mesh. But whatever the rest of the island had done, it had stabilized him again, and he had reappeared, tired but relatively healthy.

And then he'd slept.

And then he and Wade had... reconnected, at that halfway point between violence and something else.

And then he'd slept some more.

But today he was up and functioning, checking in on the shop's inventory while Jan chattered at him from his big chair.

Caritas- Tuesday

Kitty was figuring out that "one of those days" in Fandom was completely different than one of those days anywhere else. There was the egg nog and cocoa from the faucets, sure, but she'd had to call for maintenance on the freezer and when she went back later, she found a bunny rabbit pacing around muttering something about it being more suited to refrigeration.

One of those days.
