Audrey just had to make it from today through Sunday and Christmas would be over. Actually, since it was already today, she really only had to worry about Saturday and Sunday. It made her feel slightly better when she thought about it that way.

Of course from now until then, she kept having to deal with things like flying mistletoe and having to say things like "That's so not professional, guys."

It was going to be a long weekend.

It was Bod's last day of work before the holiday so he was intending to be festive. He'd donned his best Christmas colors (but he didn't look garish) and had put up a few small decorations around the diner. The staff was getting into the spirit of things as well with holiday themed specials and by humming Christmas carols.

Groovy Tunes - Friday

Today there was festive music and flying mistletoe at Groovy Tunes. The person behind the counter was not so festive. In fact, he looked like he had a severe case of the 'Bah Humbugs'.

Of course, he felt he had reason to be pissy. His birthday had been yesterday, and the only two people who had reason to know about it had skipped out the day before. And he had yet to hear anything from back home.

So, venturing into Groovy Tunes today meant the possibility of dealing a cranky Seifer, or you could just watch as he killed things on the new Space Battles game.

Turtle and Canary -- Friday

Hope was having a bad day, which meant everything in the damn store was getting cleaned and polished to within an inch of its life.

This might explain why Apu was on top of the Squishy machine. Hope was scary when she got into a mood like this.
