With Spring Break so close, Bod was trying to figure out if he was actually going to attend the school sponsored trip or make his way back to Kansas to spend it with Kate. They had little free time together so it was his first choice but he also didn't want to disrupt her normal work schedule and make her feel like she had to entertain him. That was his main area of thinking as he got the diner ready to open for business.

Hope was having a productive day -- she'd put things away, she'd cleaned up a couple messes, and she'd even managed to have a conversation with Apu that didn't result in him looking at her like she was crazy.

She was pretty sure that last one was the bigger accomplishment.

Audrey might wonder a lot more about why whatever was going on wasn't affecting her if she wasn't so annoyed by so many of the people who were. A girl couldn't even get coffee in peace anymore. At least at work she could speak three very important words if she didn't want someone hitting on her: "sexual harassment lawsuit." It tended to do the trick.

She would just be here, trying to bury herself in paperwork since trying to find out what might be causing this had gotten her nothing but hit on and weird Google hits.

Pre-Spring Break 'Not Girlkissy' Slumber Party, Friday Evening

A room at the community center had been set up for a perfectly innocent slumber party that was in no way intended to promote girlkissy. Streamers were tacked to the walls, a buffet table held a range of late-night nibblies with a bias toward the sweet end of the spectrum, and a sound system played current pop and dance songs. Blankets, pillows and sleeping bags were heaped neatly along one wall, ready to be put into use by anyone with the inclination to stay the night.

Depending on your inclinations, this was either an innocent celebration of the start of spring break, or the ideal way for Fandom's young women to explore their Sapphic urges. Either way, it promised to be a good night.

Seifer was having a good day already. He was in a good mood, the barista at the Perk had gotten his order right and he couldn't even complain about the suggestive songs that the radio in the store was insisting on playing.

Yes, it was still on the kick from yesterday. And he wasn't about to bitch about the amount of AC/DC coming out of the speakers.

Whatever the hell had gotten into people's heads had as of yet showed no signs of slowing down, but Toby was just gonna cling to what Raven had said about it eventually disappating after about a week. If that held true, things should start returning to normal soon.

In the meantime, Toby would just be in the kitchen, scrubbing dirty dishes with perhaps more vigour than was strictly called for.

Since Friday's bartender wasn't here anymore, Kitty came in today, against all better judgment. At least the tips would probably be better, and she told herself that she was definitely, under no circumstances, allowed to hook up with any employees.

Okay, so maybe she ended up flirting a little bit with Tino without even realizing she was doing it. That ended- thank god- the second she saw that once again he'd decided on today's special.
