Samus really wasn't expecting the general store to be very busy today, but she still wanted to be there to keep an eye on things. This just meant she'd have some time to do some tune-ups on her armor, so a lot of bits and pieces were scattered around the counter, behind the counter, in the office, on top of the SquishyBot. It might seem counterproductive to have so many pieces in so many places, but that was the beauty of the technology and Samus's ability to handle it. She could have the thing back together in two shakes of a draygon's tail.

So long as the panda didn't touch any of it, anyway.

Tino was out at the front of the building today, still scrubbing paint off the exterior. It wasn't really fair to him, since he'd caused absolutely none of the damage, but his huge head over being faux manager last week deserved him getting knocked down a few pegs. Besides, she'd been cleaning up the interior (no one could fire in there but paint still managed to get around, mainly from people's shoes) and wanted a break.

So Tino could do that. She'd be sitting here, behind the bar, not cleaning. It was nice.
