Toby, not being from a universe that contained any sort of Jedi, was unaware of why today might hold any sort of significance (well, significance only if you had a ridiculous sense of humour, like some people working at Stark Industries today).

TODAY'S SPECIAL
CONTAINS SWEETWEED
(NOT SUITABLE FOR TWI'LEKS)

Not that Toby had any idea what a Twi'lek was. He just wrote the sign, he didn't ask questions.

Ben was being hugely productive today.

Okay, not really.

Ben was leaving messages for everyone he knew back home (and in Fandom, and his various relatives across the multiverse): "May the 4th be with you!"

Ben was under the delusion that he was hilarious.

But Stark Industries was open...so there was that?

Well. That was it, then.

Alistair had his things all packed in one simple bag, slung over his shoulder, over the shield. Duncan had been brief but urgent in his message: all the Wardens were to go to Ostagar, to join King Cailan's army. They would cobble together the last batch of recruits and then go to war against the darkspawn, hopefully stopping this Blight before it went anywhere.

He'd miss this place, sure. (Though he certainly wouldn't miss Morrigan - at least some good would come of this.) But he was a Warden, and he was planning to serve.

Actually, come to think of it, he was looking forward to doing something useful for a change.

He took one more moment to stand by the causeway, to look up at that large castle. Then he was on his way.

[[ last post in Fandom! it is open, however, for anyone who wants to catch him before he goes, or who wants to use the causeway for their own purposes. ]]

Max was sitting in the grass near the causeway with a legionaire's rucksack and a case of cheap beer next to him. He was actually armored up, too, his usual comfortable jeans and a tshirt replaced by well-maintained scale-mail.

It was kind of weird thinking that after all the time he'd spent in Fandom, he was basically leaving with exactly the same things he'd brought in. And he wasn't even leaving behind much. Mostly clothes, really.

He'd considered having some sort of send-off party, but that had felt... weird. So he'd just settled for emails to his former students and the various friends he'd made who were still around the island. There were fewer of those than there used to be. It almost felt like he was the last one out, in a way.

Max shook that particular thought off and popped open another beer. It wasn't very good beer, but since he was about to head back into the field, where he'd be lucky to get bad wine, so he definitely wasn't going to complain.

It'd been a good three years, really. He hadn't expected to miss the place, not when he'd first arrived, but... he knew he would. Which he knew was the real reason he was lingering. He didn't really need to finish the entire case of beer, but he was going to. If only to spend those few extra minutes saying goodbye.

[And Max is off. Feel free to have gotten a message if you like, or just feel free to swing by.]

Kenzi was experimenting with various displays again. Lingerie and hats? Lingerie and masks? Toys and oils? Hmmmm.

[open, ocd-free, and I'm off to see Avengers!]
