Junior year was starting in like a week, which meant that Topher's parents seemed to think it was time for him to start making a list of colleges. It seemed kind of ridiculous to him since he was certain he would get into wherever he applied, but there it was.

So today he could be found boredly clicking around on the MIT website just so he could say he did it. Whatever.

The Boards, Saturday, All Day

Ah, the Saturday before the new students were set to arrive on the island, and so much to be done. Today at The Boards saw Jonothon opening a package that had arrived in the mail yesterday. He could have just printed copies from the internet, The Consequence of Being Frank was public domain by now, certainly, but there was something about a properly bound script that held some appeal.

At least, that was what Jonothon figured, though a stack of identical scripts was only enough to keep him occupied for a short while, even if there were notes to be written in the margins of his own copy. It wasn't long beofre he directed his attention to working on a class syllabus, instead.

Keeping busy. Jono didn't dare let himself sit idle, these days.

Today Tino wanted April to look over some poems or whatever he was texting to some chick.

April had no idea why he thought she was the right person for this, but she thought he would find her advice exceptionally helpful.

"Add a line about how her face looks like a duck," she advised as she lined up beer bottles on the bar to make a pyramid. "And make it a limerick. That'll be a turn-on."

She'd have to remember to check when she came in next week to see if Tino had a black eye.

Bo owed Tiny for so many things, he'd kind of lost count. Tonight, though, that was a straight-up fair exchange.

What she'd exchanged for it was none of your business, and also less dirty than you think.

Fine, she'd let him take a picture of her wearing moose antlers. If you asked nicely, he'd even text it to your phone.

Not just moose antlers. Pervs.

Not that he hadn't suggested that, but Bo's counter-offer for that had not been satisfactory. Or anatomically possible, even for Tiny.

Derek did not have a cup of coffee despite being in a coffee shop. He did, however, have a scone.

It was raspberry.

And, yes, he was glaring at it. Glaring while he ignored the barista's swooning over a poem she'd been given. He should have just stayed in his creepy, abandoned house tonight.
