The Boards, Thursday, All Day!

Well, it had been a while since Jono had done anything in some sort of official capacity down at the Boards, between breaks and so on, and it was high time he do something about that. And that was why he was down in the lobby today, putting up cotton cobwebbing and strategically hiding rubber rats. Outside, he'd rearranged the marquis for his nefarious purposes.

There weren't many holidays that Jonothon could say he actually enjoyed. And, as much as he complained about America otherwise, he had to admit that he had a certain fondness for the way they celebrated Halloween. And so it was completely possible that he was humming to himself as he decorated and waited to see if anybody was as interested in spookying up The Boards as he was.

[OOC: I've been meaning to post this for weeks, but vacation wasn't having any of it! Involvement in the haunted house is open to all, and Jono will take last-minute signups on Halloween if today doesn't work for you. Open post is open, yay!]

Today, William was working on repairing a laptop that had been dropped off the other day. That was straightforward enough. The customer's extra request, however...

"Waffle iron?" William boggled at the note the customer had written. "How am I supposed t- that doesn't even make any sense!"

Demon Marcus, Thursday

It was a pretty happy Jeremy that showed up to work today (on time, even). His birthday party had been fun, there was a field trip into space coming up (which he was treating like an extra birthday present), and he had a date next week. Yup, things were pretty nice all around.

So Jeremy's work shift found him going around the store making sure everything was in order, and looking for something nice to wear on Monday. Or to space.

Look, he just liked clothes.

Dite's Decadent Delights, Thursday Afternoon

Sure, Spring Cleaning was supposed to take place in the, well, spring, but there was something about the brisk change of seasons that always made Karla want to open all the doors and windows and scrub until everything smelled as fresh as the air outside. And since it seemed appropriate, she decided to make a mini-PSA about cleaning toys, too. Up front next to the register were several pamphlets regarding toy cleaning and maintenance, as well as a sign offering half-off various types of toy cleaning products.

Elle was having one of those days where everything was going wrong -- which explained why she was just parked in a chair behind the counter. If she just stayed in one spot, she couldn't have anything else go wrong and couldn't knock anything else over like she'd been doing all morning.

So she just sat there, magazine in her lap as she tried to make sure nothing else went wrong with her day.

Hey, couldn't blame a girl for trying.
