Apparently either the droids had been in Fandom long enough to be aware (... of as aware as robots ever got, Toby had no idea how that even worked, to be honest) of Christmas, or one of them had been looking things up on Wikipedia or something, because when Toby came in to the restaurant it was to see it all decked out in garlands and lights, with Christmas carols piping through the sound system.

"You've got to be kidding me. It's not even December yet," he grumbled.

There was quite a bit of coffee joining Alec at Wellspring Arms today, oh yes there was. At least, there were multiple cups of coffee that he'd bought at The Perk on his way to work, then got to the store before actually taking a sip... only to find out that they'd given him apple cider by mistake.

Actually, it was kind of delicious. But it was not caffeinated, so Alec was going to be a little on the slow side today as he took care of what needed to be taken care of and could be managed from his desk.

Allie was just going to stand by the door and repeatedly remind herself that she didn't kill people. Even if they deserved it.

Caritas, Friday Evening

With all his shit safely (well, safely enough) at the house, Mike was ready for his shift at Caritas. A little tired and a little sore, but ready, and actually pretty happy. Hey, he liked having his own stuff, even if it made it that much more real that he was going to be staying on this crazy island for a while. Things were cool with him, right this moment. He didn't even pay any attention to Tino's grumblings this week.

And yes, beers for anyone who'd helped him move were going to be on him.
