Topher didn't know who had brought in this Easy-Bake Oven to be repaired, but they had made a number of ridiculous requests that were complicating his day. For one thing, they wanted the oven to be painted yellow and orange, with a large gold racing stripe. Next, they wanted the oven to possess the ability to levitate, activated by a finger-snap. Topher assumed this was an issue of the person not wanting to get up all the time, which he could understand. Thirdly, they had requested that "all muffins should be chocolate muffins," which might not even pertain to this oven specifically. And finally, the last request said "Make me a pie."

So Topher was spending his afternoon trying to make a pie in an Easy Bake oven. It was very difficult and he was rapidly beginning to hate everything.

The Boards, Saturday

Jono had woken up that morning to find that the cat that was sitting on his chest was a little larger and a little more wiry than he was used to. Closer inspection revealed the reason why, though Joni didn't seem to care one way or another about the plumbing she was wandering around with, just so long as she was fed, thank you very much.

He shrugged and then stood at the window while he drank his coffee, listening for the inevitable telltale manly screams before making his way down to the Boards. There were two announcements for him to put out on the marquis that day.

That accomplished, Jono settled down in the box office with his feet up, idly leafing through his copy of the Being Frank script and occasionally getting Joni with the squirt bottle when she decided she was going to play the part of territorial tomcat and claim the office as her own.

Guess who still had all her girlparts today!

That's right. April did. Though she didn't know that this made her special until she got to the bar today and saw Tino in the lounge consoling his newly-male and even-uglier-than-usual girlfriend. If she had known, she would have come to work in a skirt today, just to be a jerk.

Sadly, it was not to be. Instead, she spent a few minutes working on a sign.

Since this was Bo's second time around for this particular Fandom quirk, she'd just rolled her eyes and set about rifling through her closet -- well, re-purposed office supply cabinet -- for something to wear.

She really needed to remember to thank Mitchell for basically being the dude version of her when it came to black jeans and leather jackets. Corsets, notsomuch (though there was an interesting mental image) but she settled for ruining one of her own SECURITY tees by stretching it out of shape, and then it was off to the Devil's Nest.

Where Tiny asked her if she was Bo's impossibly perfect fake brother, and she kicked him, as you do. Even though after the whole Bitsy thing, she knew she had it coming.
