Leave it to Portalocity to decide a five-hour layover in 18th-century Hawaii would really enliven Jack's attempt to rush from Beacon Hills back to Fandom. It wasn't as if he was trying to get help for a dying packmate or anything, after all.

Since he had to open the club anyhow, he went there went directly from the portal and left a message for Stiles before tapping into the multiverse Internet to see if he could find anything about different types of wolfsbane. So far, all he had was a disturbing amount of Wendy the Werewolf Stalker fanfic in which Wendy cured Seraphim with -- things he was not about to do to Derek.

The Devil's Nest was (nominally) open, though Tiny was a better bet for service than Jack.

The island woke up to a rattling of teacups and shelves. Just off the coast, Ingvar Islet gave a visible tremble, practically vibrating. There was power in it, like plates shifting but not quite-- a quake, but one with a clear purpose.

It found that purpose lying somewhere now-forgotten, hidden between trees and covered in moss and beetles and the scars of years of corrosion. A stone, an unremarkable stone, at least for a moment.

And then it shifted.

The moss parted. The beetles fled. The cracks in its surface moved, until suddenly they were legible again.

Teal deer gathered 'round.

And then it sang.

If you dream them, they will come. If you dream them, they will come. If you dream...

Ingvar Islet settled, satisfied. He had found the reassurance he was looking for - and over the next few days, it would only build, dream upon dream, breath upon breath.

[ and Field of Dreams is a-go! As of now, the stone will call to those who have lost... come find it, come touch it. Or come looking for it and find nothing at all... Anyone touching the stone is NFB ]

After the events of the weekend, Hanna added mannequins to her list of creepy things she never wanted to see again. Working at a boutique kind of made that difficult. She was eying the mannequins very suspiciously today. They couldn't be trusted.

The store was open despite the paranoia.

[no ocd today]

"Pfft!" Priestly scoffed as he looked over the chef's shoulder.

The cook peered at him sideways. "What?"

"I said be creative, Cookie. Meatloaf cupcakes are passe."

The cream pie that the cook shoved in his face turned out to be made out of mashed potatoes.

"Okay," Priestly said. "That was a little creative."

Today's specials
Deep-dish pizza cupcakes
Lasagne cupcakes
Chocolate cola cupcakes
Now hiring! Most shifts available!

Luke's was open.

After his balloon ride in flight, Cade was more than happy to have his feet back on the ground.

Well, his feet up on the counter, anyway because that's where they were.

Cade was such a model employee, really.

Stark Industries was open!

Alice was slumped over the counter, slowly dying out of lack of sleep. She had managed to close her eyes for more than ten minutes last night but had just woken up screaming a minute later. She was going to crack soon though, and then hyper realistic nightmares or not she was going to get some sleep. Getting herself hammered didn't seem to have done anything but add a hangover to her suffering, so yeah.

Yeah, the store was open.

[ What are you talking about I meant to post this at this hour. No OCD today, but pretty open. ]
