So the kiddos had left the island again. Go figure. Still, Alice felt like nothing had changed for her in terms of people being around her. The fact she had somewhat managed to bond with a vampire was somewhat ironic, yes, but if she could keep a conversation with Allie, it stood to reason she should be able to do the same with the less strange elements of the island. The ones still around, at least. Her dreams now becoming something of a constant annoyance that appeared every now and then, Alice felt like she had been slacking in that front.

She would mull over her social limitations as she cleaned several ancient rifles.

And the store was open of course.
