Outside the radio station- Wednesday morning

The squirrels had progressed to having a sit-in.

It was entirely, entirely possible that they'd just gotten tired of protesting by pacing around. They had been doing it for a week, after all.

So anyone passing by the radio station today might be given a brown ribbon, or had a nut thrown at them, or might be begged for rum or food. (Because they kept throwing nuts at people.)

So, today was interesting. It had involved a hawk boyfriend and a new entry of "what do hawks eat" in Kitty's Google search history. And when that answer kind of horrified her, there were additional, hopeful searches of "do hawks eat birdseed" and "can hawks eat pizza?" (She had to also consider Lucky here, don't look at her like that.) At least she was so used to having a similar-sized flying Lockheed around that this wasn't as weird as it could have been? Not that she would say that.

And after checking several times through the day to see if the rum shipment had finally made it there, when Kitty went to the bar this evening, she found it waiting for her to unload.

"Check it out, I don't have to kill anyone!" Kitty said happily, and then realized she had no idea where Clint had gotten to. Which meant when she looked up, she saw him perched at the highest point he could get to. "Right," she said, "you've hit other problems today."

The Devil's Nest, Wednesday Evening

There was once again rum at the Devil's Nest today! Not that anyone save for the squirrels probably cared about that. But, you know. It was there.

For all the tropical drinks you could imagine. Or get Derek to actually make for you. The number went down dramatically once you took that part into consideration.

Ah, the joys of being a poor bartender.
