Well, his weekend had been...eventful (if meeting your grandparents when they had no idea who you were could be counted as eventful. Cade, personally, was slotting it under "karked up"), which was why instead of working on something electronic, Cade was jabbing at his communicator's keypad like it had personally offended him as he wrote a message back to Uncle Bantha in a galaxy far, far away.

Most people didn't use so much profanity when writing to their uncles, but most people weren't Cade.

Stark Industries was open! Cade didn't want to talk about it.

"This is ridiculous," Priestly groused.

"Uh huh," said the cook.

"Someone should be doing something," Priestly said.

"Hmm," said the cook.

"It's almost April!" Priestly cried.

"So are you not going to do a special today, then?" the cook asked.

Today's special
Baked Alaska
now hiring! most shifts available!

"Huh," said the cook. "You usually go for --"

"I don't care," Priestly said grouchily.

Luke's was open.

Since Hanna was at work today, she considered using her employee discount to purchase a new outfit for Spencer's "party" this week. Sure, it was just for show, but she could still look the part of someone going to a fancy soirée. Working in retail sometimes had its perks.

The store was open.

For the first day of Passover, Jack had accepted an invitation to Seder from the Hopkins' Jewish student group. Which meant that instead of wading through paperwork like a good day person, or rejoicing in the new rum shipment like a proper Friend of the Squirrels, Jack spent most of his afternoon and early evening picking his way through slushy Baltimore traffic to mark the holiday with people he had, in truth, very little in common with.

But he expected the food to be good. So that was something.

At the bar, Tiny was serving Kosher wine and Seder-inspired cocktails.

[OOC: Mod your own bar day!]

Alice had arrived ironically early at the store, only to find the biggest pile of paperwork she had seen so far over the counter.

Paperwork of what exactly, she couldn't tell, but apparently having a lot of weird, ancient, futuristic? Weapons meant you had to sign for half of it, and then some more.

Sighing, she got to signing. They were not going to get into some weird legal trouble in her shift.
