Sparkle was having a 'meh, screw it' day at Dite's, today.

Sure, there was a shipment in that could be unpacked. And he'd get around to it before the end of his shift, sure. Hell, by the time he got around to it, it would probably be a little like romping through a candy store, if candy stores came with an age restriction and a large amount of reinforced leather and silicone.

For for most of the day? Meh. Screw it. He was going to sit at the counter reading about sexual identity and people were going to have to deal.

Caritas, Friday Evening

There were oranges all over Caritas tonight. Behind the bar, on a shelf in the back room, on the zombie drummer's drums... They were just turning up all over the place. Tino was doing his best to ignore the whole thing.

Mike was practising juggling with them. He wasn't very good, but that didn't matter, it amused him all the same.

The Perk, Friday Evening

It had been a few weeks since Jonothon had set foot on the island, and, while he hadn't exactly been in any hurry to return here after the last time, especially since there was so much work to be done in Kaeleer, his power packs didn't last forever when he was using them so regularly. He had to return to somewhere with electricity to charge them, and the island was pretty much it.

So, while his power packs were charging at the Boards, he was sitting at the Perk, where the lights were a little less dim, quietly flipping through a journal full of notes he'd been keeping over the past few weeks with a coffee close to hand. Just because he wasn't currently sitting in the middle of the war didn't mean he had to leave it completely behind, after all. There was work to be done.

And hot coffee to be appreciated. Thoroughly. It was winter in Glacia now, after all.
