All of Lex's belongings (except the stuff he didn't want to risk through inter-dimensional shipping) had already been sent on ahead, so he didn't see much reason to hang around his room any longer, not when there were places like the Perk to hang around in instead.

So there he was, sitting back at a table and taking in the ambience. You know, it'd be kind of cool to run a place like this one day. Well, own and pay someone else to run.

So, Dean had a crown when he wandered on down to work today. It was made of delicate white roses. And it would not go away. Even after he tried, salt, holy water, and a little bit of fire (well, he didn't need those eyebrows anyway) to destroy the monstrosity.

For now, however, he was actually attempting to research this before manning up to tell Bobby he was being attacked by a flower crown.

His life was special.

It was probably some sort of testimony to how Nikolai was adapting to life on the island that it actually took him a while to figure out what the hell was different when he went down for his shift at the hotel desk. It was't the flower crowns, no, though Nick was sporting his own in an assortment of larkspurs and narcissus, and the damn thing kept slipping down over his face, pushing his shades lower on his nose. It wasn't Gunther's insistence that he put 'candied flowers' on the specials board, even if Nikolai was a bit wary of serving candied pansies to people if they had materialized out of nowhere on the head chef's head.

It wasn't until about noon that he figured it out.

"Who unplugged the telephone?"

The silence had been golden.
