Yeah, Jono was holding one more day of these things. And that was for two reasons. The first was because he was actually stuck in a debate with himself about either going out onto the street and offering roles to NPC passers by like candy, or changing the production to something that didn't have such an... ambitious number of people in the cast.

... The second was because his cast as it stood still primarily the Teenage Girl Squad, and there was no way in hell he was surrounding himself by that again this week. At least with the Roller Derby club, he had been able to direct his attention toward anything but the club members. And his class? Got to leave the island. Thank god.

Auditions - One More Day!
Jekyll & Hyde (Probably)
Monologue and a Song Will be Provided if You Don't Have One
Rehearsals on Wednesdays and Sundays, Performance Friday, Nov. 29

He had plenty of crew, at least. As for what to do about the cast...

... Any week but this one, he'd actually crack a joke about offering sexual favours to any adults who wanted to sign up. As it stood, he was eyeing up a Little Shop of Horrors script and wondering if the people who had auditioned would be opposed to performing something a little less serious this fall instead.

[OOC: Open! And if people who have auditioned would be so kind as to poke at the OOC note in the OCD and just give me their opinion on that, that'd be a huge help, thanks!]

April was spending her shift today doodling, because really, there was no way she was going anywhere near the animals today. Instead, she was drawing a really graphic illustration of... well, it was rated R and she wasn't going to let anyone see it, even the squirrels. So don't ask.

She had her feet up on her desk and her notebook resting on her legs, and her iPod was playing a steady stream of pretty inappropriate rap music through the small speakers on her desk. There was just no professionalism to be found here today.

Tamsin was old and wise enough that you'd think something like this week's pollen problem wouldn't get to her, but no. She had an itch, an incredibly frustrating itch, and so far she hadn't exactly been in a position to scratch it guilt-free.

Mrfl.

"You keep those helmets on," she snapped at Ralph and his friends. "Every bit of it. I don't want to walk in here and find one of your codpieces sitting on the printer."

She collapsed in her chair. "And if anyone comes near me today, I'm going to tear their head off."

Understandably, the troopers didn't go anywhere near her all day.

Derek had made it through class already and that was left for him this week was his night at the bar. And then he could just hide in his room and not deal with people.

It was a good plan.

Because right now? Even Tiny was looking okay to him.

Ugh.

And it didn't help matters that the DJ was playing Barry White, more Barry White, and some Barry White dubstep. How did that even exist?

Victor's first customer at Stark today was a woman who had burnt out the motor on her "personal massage unit" and wanted to know how quickly they could fix it.

This wasn't necessarily unusual; what was unusual was that the second customer was in the same situation. So was the third. And the fourth -- well, Victor wasn't sure he even wanted to know exactly what that device was or how the owner had been using it.

But it was good to be busy. It kept Victor's mind from less wholesome pursuits, such as what would happen if he interfaced his circuitry directly with a Japanese dating sim. That particular project could wait until he got home.

[OOC: Open shop, no OCD.]

Roland had thrown all subtlety to the wind. He was unashamedly singing "Why Don't We Get Drunk" rather loudly and cheerfully.

There was a distinct possibility he'd already started on the first suggestion of the song's chorus. And, hey, according to the radio, the whole town was horny, so why not just roll with it?

At least he was too drunk to throw any magic into it. No one needed any sort of extra encouragement, this week.

[ooc: I amuse myself, yes. Open street corner is open!]

Okay, so singing songs about sex all day maybe wasn't the best way to deal with the excess, er, energy floating around. Roland had run home after an afternoon of busking for a quick shower and, well, other preparations, and was now out in front of the post office, guitar still in hand (where he went, she went) and waited for his date for the evening to arrive.

He'd done okay for himself, today (the NPC townspeople were feeling generous, apparently). Minus the back rent he still owed Uncle Tony for his basement apartment in Toronto, he might even manage to buy them ice cream after, if dinner was cheap enough. . . .

[ooc: for the date, and lots of slowplay.]

There was a conga line going on through the kitchen. No, Kenzi was not going to join in, 'cause that way lay madness. Flirting with the busboy was one thing. Engaging in a group... activity, was another.

Specials:
Anything!
No limits!
Just no gettin' busy in the booths.

[ooc: up late because of sick, but better now, so, we're flying ocd-free.]
