Kenzi was putting her contemplation of weirdness on hold for the day. She had work, and she had practice, and she had possible guests for lunch -- and an adorable tutu for one in particular.

"Anyone makes a comment about my hair, they're getting scalped."

The kitchen crew went right back to work, keeping their mouths shut.

So. Aeryn was still here.

She'd gone up in her Prowler a few times to look for Moya, but still found nothing. She hadn't been able to get in contact with anyone, no one seemed to know what she was talking about regarding the cloud she'd come through, and she wasn't at all sure that anyone was still looking for her. She was still in some nice denial about actually being stranded, but she accepted that it was denial, which was probably a good step. She supposed. She wasn't great at this whole feelings thing.

She'd secured a place to stay, but had mostly been keeping to herself so far. Everyone had been perfectly fine to her, but she had her reasons for not trusting people immediately here. But as she hadn't been captured or threatened with dissection yet, she decided it was worth it to get out for some alone time in a nice open place, like that might clear her head some.

Mostly, though, she was sitting on a bench and watching the funny pink birds she hadn't known existed.

Elsa really had no idea what to do with herself today at the Magic Box. She'd gotten in an order of bloodstone polish (and the eye on each container seemed to be staring at her, so she'd turned the whole case the other way) and she had a book written in runes to start translating for Rinoa. First she went through the whole thing looking for spells about portals, to little avail, before she started translating what each spell was for, instead. If Rinoa wanted anything in particular, she could ask. Elsa wasn't exactly raring for the opportunity to hand potentially powerful spells to a near stranger.

That was going to take up the rest of her day, she was sure.

... With the occasional trip to turn the bloodstone polish back around. No wonder they hadn't been carrying it.

[Open, OCD-free!]

Eleanor was starting to worry. Her memories were shifting; either that, or everyone else's were. Neither was a terribly good sign. One might mean that her ADAM was leaking -- the other, that everyone on this island was slowing going mad.

But she was determined, as she came in to work. Possibly because she carried with her an empty hypodermic needle, just in case her boss appeared and did want her help.

Groovy Tunes was open, though it wasn't very music-minded today.

(the hypodermic is please NFB -- antics with it will be marked likewise)

Jake had spent the better part of the past week talking himself out of calling home. Sure, the handwavy conversations he'd had with the Trooper Station staff had seemed to indicate that he was, in fact, on good speaking terms with most of his family, but...

What if that was only local to the island? What if he called, and the call connected back to that reality where he'd taken the fall for a murder he hadn't committed? And if he spoke to the family of the Jake Doyle he'd apparently replaced, it wouldn't really be the same, would it?

All this bullshit was resulting on him teetering on the edge of an existential crisis, so Jake was just going to deal with this the same way he dealt with every other crisis: drinking. Heavily.

In all of Bruce's years managing child performers, boy bands, and other people whose adolescences would be horrible, just like HIS was after his parents died, he had never seen a performer as exploitable as his new sensation, Robin. Robin had everything. Youth! Pluck! An accent, but one that wasn't, you know, too foreign! And now he could add 'a stage to perform on' and 'swans to perform with' to that list.

Because that's how Bruce Wayne launched hot new singles. In parks with swans. Deal with it, haters, he was going to laugh all the way to the bank, and then cry all the way to bed because his still missed his mommy and daddy. But that was later. Now he had a show to launch.

"Robin!" Bruce called out. "Your public is ready to meet you! And the swans!"

Gather round, everyone. It was time to watch the start of a Behind the Music in the making.

[OOC: Open to anyone who might want to meet the next Bieber or his manager. Or just get some live music. Or see dancing swans.

AUs can get weird sometimes, you guys.]
