With the dorm situation being what it was, Jessica was hard at work today on some noise cancelling earplugs. Regular earplugs weren't quite enough. Noise cancelling headphones were bulky and were too expensive for her tastes. No, she preferred to try inventing something discreet that she could use for going back to the dorms, in meetings, any time.

Oh, science, you were great.

Flash was a little disappointed to be here at work instead of watching the World Cup, but those were the breaks sometimes. He didn't have work when the US played, so he couldn't complain too much.

Even more, he could actually use the time behind a desk since he took on another job as a teacher starting this week. Not only did he have a lesson plan to figure out, but he had to prepare to talk to the principal about his other half. After all, the radio did mention that he turned into an alien monster and attacked a student and a teacher. Chances were that somebody listened to the broadcast that day and might not be thrilled with the prospect.

But that was something he was going to have to deal with. The school was at the center of everything around here, and that meant that his best chance to get rid of the demon in him was going there.

Anyway, he was here at the desk if anyone needed anything!
