Elsa had taken a couple of days to herself to try to sort out just what the implications of this weekend were. She'd had a sister for a couple of days in Karla, and a lover for an evening in Eleanor, and in the wake of it all, everything was still muddled up in her head. She'd had a chance to speak to Karla, at least, who had assured her that Ange-- that Warren wasn't actually evil, and coming in this morning to see some of the books written in runes had put her worries about Celia's well-being to rest.

She still hadn't spoken with Eleanor.

But! That hardly mattered! It had just been one of those odd weekends, and everything was back to normal now, and Elsa was going to make herself very busy tidying and putting new stock on the shelves and making certain that there were orders placed for the proper incense and gemstones for Lughnasadh, which was in a few weeks. Aloes, rose, sandalwood, carnelian... Plenty of work to be done! No time for fretting!

... Elsa was absolutely fretting.

Celia, who was still very much not dead, had made her way home for a brief post-class nap this afternoon before ferrying her way back across to the island for her meeting with Elsa. She wasn't sure whether to bring anything, and ultimately decided not to, save for a book to entertain her on the trip over -- if they really found themselves in want of something, she could always conjure it up.

She made her way to the preserve just as the sun was setting, and found herself a spot to sit where her dress wouldn't get dirty to wait. It was strange -- Elsa's magic was so different from her own, but Celia still had the utmost confidence that she'd be able to help, that if nothing else, she needed the other girl to understand the gift she'd been given.

(Even if, finally, Celia did understand why she thought of it otherwise. She would, too.)

[open for one (omg guess who) and SP! that the girls met is totally okay for broadcast, but what they're doing is not so much.]

Alana hadn't had much experience with the kid of Fandom weird that made you think you were a totally different person, and after the previous weekend she really wasn't hoping for a repeat. She was still idly wondering if she should apologize for having thrown a glass at that trooper -- but, well, she wasn't that sorry.

Today was a fairly calm day at Book Haven, especially if you could ignore the periodic symphony of chirps coming from the books about birds. And Alana had gotten very good at ignoring weird noises from books over the last few months. The books could chirp if they wanted to. As long as they didn't start flying around crapping on things, Alana would leave them to it.

[OOC: Open bookshop!]

There was dust on the bar top right where Derek normally stood. No, he didn't understand why that might be, but he was dusting it off with a rag.

Sometimes Fandom just had weird little whimsies. And sometimes he was pretty sure Tiny was just messing with him for some reason.

Tiny was a jerk.

Yeah, no, Kenzi was not working hard this week. She had a reality hangover.

The General Manager looked at the memo on official company letterhead. Then at the sign. Then at the new sign being patiently held by two burly delivery dudes as they waited on her decision.

She nodded at them.

The taller but less burly one gave her a salute and signaled a third man who stood on a ladder beneath the old sign. "Right. That one goes down, this one goes up."

"That's what she said," she said. Because it was.
