The carnival was still going strong, and of course the booths were always a big draw! Whether you wanted to kiss someone, see them sopping wet in late October in Maryland, or just throw pie in their face, there was plenty more to do!

There was probably still glitter involved somehow.

Caritas, Thursday

A large, mislabeled delivery that was apparently supposed to be delivered across the country awaited Cara today. Upon opening it had turned out to be filled with bottles of "Halloween"-flavoured liquor, in various eye-searing colours.

So, against all better judgement, Cara was taking one for the team tonight and trying out the various colours to see what Halloween tasted like.

Thus far, pretty vile, she was going to need some kind of palate cleanser.

Normally Mary would have had a death grip on her clipboard on a day like today, or sometimes she would be juggling her main clipboard and her back-up clipboard in an effort to keep up. But Mary had done something that was just a little crazy (for her). She'd upgraded to an iPad. So far, things were running smoothly. It was nice to have all the information she needed at her fingertips with the ability to search. The only time she missed her old clipboard was when the gremlins in the janitorial closet started acting up. She wasn't about to risk damaging her fancy new iPad by using it to whack a gremlin.
