Celia bustled into the Magic Box with a cape clasped at her throat -- it wasn't quite chilly enough to start turning her taffeta into wool, but she'd ended up wanting a little extra warmth for her walk into town today.

The shop itself seemed suited to the overcast day, and Celia found herself foregoing electrical alternatives in lieu of candles. It seemed...atmospheric. It was autumn in full, now, and winter seemed like it was lurking around every corner -- cold, bright light seemed wholly out of place.

Besides, it gave her incentive to practice things like conjuring and extinguishing flames, and it might have delighted her sense of macabre to float candlesticks around the shop as she worked today. (Ooooh, spooooooky.)

[open shop, ocd free, whooo I totally forgot to post for a few weeks. >.>]

Bored.

Booooooored.

Jono could think of better ways to spend a Tuesday than sitting in the music shop, completely bored out of his wits. Probably. If he wasn't too bored to bother trying. Unfortunately, that seemed to be the case. Even with a laser pointer and a playful cat bouncing around the floor. Even with a new shipment of guitars in that were just begging to be test-played. Even surrounded by vinyl and CDs and so much music even he hadn't had a chance to listen to just yet.

Some days were just bored days.

But hey, he was here. And he had his NOW HIRING sign in the window, in case anybody else wanted to spend a day a week being bored here, too. Or not bored. He was too bored to care which.

[Open, OCD-free. Bored.]

Éponine hated customs forms.  Hated filling them out, hated even more having to explain to customers how to fill them out.  On some level she understood the whole idea behind them, but given her usual dealings with them they were just a hassle.  (All right, more accurately it was her frustration with the customers who found them absurdly difficult to deal with that was the hassle.)

She was not looking forward to that part of the holiday season this year, needless to say, but today was a good warmup for it since approximately every other person who'd come in with something to mail out today was sending it to another country, planet, timeline, dimension and that meant all kinds of running back and forth to the large file room devoted entirely to customs forms.  Sometimes all four, just for extra fun.  The "now we have to get out the handcart just to bring you the right forms, and here, take this chisel because postal regulations for this dimension requires you to fill out stone tablets in triplicate, and no, we're not liable if you hit your thumb with the hammer while writing" variety of fun.

By lunchtime she was sitting on the front steps of the post office with a cup of coffee and a bag of cookies, trying to convince herself that she really shouldn't contemplate setting people on fire.

Kitty was feeling okay enough to go to Westchester tomorrow, and decided to come in to work tonight... and realized she probably still shouldn't be touching things like glassware that people would be drinking from and passing on her germs.

So Tino was manning the bar while Kitty was sitting in the back room drinking coffee and watching election coverage. Shut up, she's the boss.

Okay, so his trip to Dantooine had lasted slightly longer than planned, but on Tuesday Atton was finally free. And tired. Really tired. He hadn't slept much at all last night - not that he slept much in general lately - and most of his muscles still ached from days of work.

So he threw his nearly-dead ass down in a seat at the Perk. Got a giant cup of coffee. Practically faceplanted in it.

"Mrghggbll."

The barista didn't look terribly impressed by that one.
