Magic Box, Sunday, 11/13
Sunday, November 23rd, 2014 09:49 amKit had been directed to the shop by the same kind of phone alarm that had sent Albus to work a few weeks before -- although, in a vocabulary-preserving move his mother would surely have appreciated, Anders had fortuitously edited the obscenities out of his notifications in the meantime.
He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do in a store all by himself, exactly, and he was a tiny bit scared by the fact this one had magc in the name. But nothing in it looked dangerous, so he wandered around looking at boring books, boring plants, and things on shelves too high for him to reach as he waited for inspiration to strike. Finally he took a pewter wizard off a shelf of figurines and a tiny bag of worry dolls from one of the new age-ier sections of the store. The wizard's wand looked like a mage's staff to him, and the other little dolls were clearly evil, so the shop would be host to a nice long game of "the mage vs. the darkspawn" until either Kit got bored or the tablet-thing told him to do something else.
